Question to all and anyone who is a Government employee. First know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Second did any of you receive the Musk e mail today. I personally know six who did all work in different Departments but all got the same Email?

Tells me Elmo don't know jack shit about working for the government - literally I spend more time at work documenting the work I do vs doing the work. Literally the computer tracks how much work I do and there's always redundant ass paperwork I gotta do on top of that. He's fucking nuts.

If I can add, niether he or trump have ever held a real job, even as kids in the Summer. trump has failed more start up then anyone and he declared "Bankruptcy" as a Business move 4 times and the sad part is people think he is smart truth is he couldn't run a 7-11!

think of the cost of everyone answering this email then the cost of a department reading each email and following up ; how many hours would that be?

there is definitely waste in the us govt, i assure you

there is waste at apple too and every large company and small business and household budgets

if i want clean up my household budget we look through our monthly expenses determine want versus need then make cuts ; i don't just randomly decide i am lay offing my electric company , brag i saved $300 month then the next month we are in the dark

Musk and Co are just hacking away at everything not realizing the fallback this country is going to endure from all these needless cuts

IMO I don't think so, I believe he never expected the backlash from it, he knows shit on how the Government works.

He wants to keep federal employees on edge, and if they quit that’s a bonus.

Work is stressful enough without this nonsense.

The scrambling that all agencies had to do today was a giant waste of time and money.

More than 20 civil service employees resigned Tuesday from Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, saying they refused to use their technical expertise to “dismantle critical public services.”

The employees also warned that many of those enlisted by Musk to help him slash the size of the federal government under President Donald Trump’s administration were political ideologues who did not have the necessary skills or experience for the task ahead of them.
