I have seen some speculation the logo could come back without the name. given the deals around the land bill that doesn't seem to far fetched. hard to argue racist when the tribe argued for it to be honored.

Keeping the logo in the organisation is one thing, using it on the helmets is another. Reinstating the name is another still. Can't see it happening and nobody in the organisation has said anything to hint otherwise. Winning team 1st (check), stadium 2nd, maybe new uniforms up there, but rename is way down the list if at all.

The logo will be used for selling pre 2020 related merchandise. Classic player jerseys, etc.. will be sold with the old logo.

The name is never going back to Redskins.

Now, they might change the name once the new stadium starts construction, since the name will be incorporated into the stadium. A new name can be picked that can use the Redskins logo.

TBH Me too, The W needs to be touched up some on the helmet but really the jerseys aren't bad.

WARRIORS is the only logical answer and always has been. I agree, Redskins will never come back

If they change the uniforms this would make my damn day. Get rid of the current crap and go back to the old color patters. I see stuff on Twitter that destroys what they have now. Get it done Harris and co!!!!

As far as Commanders, it's probably here to stay. It sucks but if we just get new uniforms I can live w/ that.

Josh Harris emphatically says they will be going forward with Commanders. With that being said, I don't see what native American imagery full-time would have anything to do with the name Commanders. Bringing back the past, I imagine, has more to do with the uniforms if anything

But, I didn't bring it up earlier because there's more than a 95% chance it's just an oversight. I did think with the helmet conversation now in play, it was worth pointing it out

You actually nailed the problem with your response few like the uniforms and especially the black uniforms, the same can be said about the name. You'd think the franchise would at least try mitigating the disdain for the name by producing uniforms more in line with the Redskins tradition.

More fans may like them slightly more with the W helmets as it'd be more attention on the team and especially Washington DC. It is difficult to correlate the franchise with the color black since we're always burgundy and gold. Black unis still looks pretty slick imo and are eccentric.

There is also a gold stripe down the center of the helmet that is not thee on the current ones.

Kevin Sheehan saying in the next few years we’ll be going back to the old uniforms (without the old logo of course), and they will be alternates in 2025.

“I just know what I said last October (fall/early Fall), I have it on good authority that they are going to go back to something resembling the old uniforms. It would be a roll out with alt (alternative) opportunities in 2025. So in these alt opportunities this year, I would imagine that in at least a couple of them we are going to have a uniform that looks like the old uniform."

The helmet is a mashup -- new matte color and W (obviously), but the old stripes and yellow facemask. I like it. The rest looks pretty darn close to the old unis, which I always liked (much better than our current white jerseys in particular).
