IGGLES POSTGAME THREAD

Wow. I love Jayden. I might even be gayden for Jayden. Lol. Dude has definitely returned to early season form.
If Hurts doesn’t get hurt they most definitely win but hey we scored 38. Of course we had the benefit of getting the ball back quickly and keeping the flow going. But im going to enjoy every moment especially at Christmas when me and my brother (skins fans) get to enjoy being around my folks and nephew (iggles fan).

Also, Go us and whoever plays GB next two weeks. Want TB instead of Philly in round 1.

Re: IGGLES POSTGAME THREAD

I want in, never mind who we play. We have a chance against anyone if we play our cards right. But we need to tighten things up. Too many turnovers obviously, but mistakes too. Busted coverages and penalties could have ended that game for us, and we have to be tougher on run defence. But lets revel in the win for teh next week at least. 😁

Re: IGGLES POSTGAME THREAD

We got lucky with this one. Minus the interception, JD played good today.

Our Oline couldn’t handle Eagles Dline. This is going to be a thorn for us if we cannot figure it out next year.

Man read the first 65 game day posts. Amazing what amount of emotion - at both ends of the spectrum - involved in this game.

Resilience!

Maybe they don't win if Hurts doesn't get hurt...maybe they do. Can't say for sure. Either way, with all the mistakes, penalties, and turnovers, to come away with a win against a team that has won 10 in a row is Awesome.

The throw to McCaffrey is definitely JD’s fault, the ball sailed on him.

Re: IGGLES POSTGAME THREAD

Speechless. We certainly have one magical qb in JD. Kid is unreal. My wife almost kicked me outta the house I got so excited with this game. Yes, Hurts was hurt but we had a lot of turnovers that we usually don't have. Also a lot of those pis on Lattimore v. Brown were bs.

mredskins, Amonmouse, rocnrik I thought we have no chance???

Anything is possible with JD5 in this league.

im trying to figure playoffs .. If we win One more either next week or At Dallas we should be in .. 11 -6
The best Atlanta can do is 10-7
Tampa should win the division
both seattle or Rams can't get in ( only the division winner)

East Philly
North Lions
south tampa
west rams
WC Green bay
WC Minn
WC Wash 11-6
does this look right ?

When me and SD calls them cunts we mean it in the best way possible. Game threads are a free for all and anything goes. I could choose to remain silent unless I have something nice to say but where is the fun in that?

Do the playoff predictor on espn and it will tell you the scenarios. Basically if we get in, we will play either Philly or TB. Gotta root against GB and for us.

And I was 100% sober lol. My gameday rage cannot be tamed. To be fair to ourselves, they really played like shit to start the game. Especially the offensive line.
Totally forgot about that one. 100 percent a bad throw.
He usually has 1-2 bad balls a game I've noticed. But other than that he's usually great. Accurate, quick release, and brings the dynamic feet. A big reason he's a better qb than Caleb Williams is JD stays in the pocket much longer during plays. Williams leaves quickly which will never work long term in this league.

The only rule of gameday thread club is there are no rules. It was funny because i thought is it cool to call em cunts? Fuck it. Posted it and saw your comment right above mine. Lol.
There was plenty of things to complain about in that game is right. Also 100 percent sober. Have been since the stroke. My brain is so fried it really doesn’t make a difference now lol.

Tremendous win! Played the wrong qb in my fantasy league, have Daniels and Josh Allen,Allen stinking it up today and going to cost me the game.
I didn’t watch much of the game every time I turned it on something bad happened,Figured I was bad luck.Off line has not been opening up much running lanes past couple of games, offense looked like it was all JD

Unbelievable resilience from this team. Eagles defense had been rolling and JD made it happen without much of a running game.

Luvu and the rookie Johnny Newton showing up on defense. Ferrell out there making plays too

Lattamore had an up and down game. He broke up a couple catches down the stretch tho which was huge

Luvu rules. Lets see if Lattimore is on the field next week.

Lattimore made a couple plays but Brown for the most part abused him, then of course he got hurt. Really should have given him more help.

Smith also helped with that drop. That was really the game right there. We got so many breaks and I will not apologize.. 😂

A few of those PI on latt was BS .. factor in the fumbles we lost and the int by JD i would say we also helped philly a little! yea the drop by them cost them the game but in a season that stuff happens !

Re: IGGLES POSTGAME THREAD

JD5 had a great 2nd half, no doubt. However, I'd give Luvu the Game Ball. INT and knocked Hurts out of the game. That allowed us to stack the box v Barkeley.

For nearly two full seasons this guy has been the worst player on the field and somehow keeps getting a paycheck.

ODUsmitty 12-22-2024 09:36 PM

Re: IGGLES POSTGAME THREAD

If Lattimore's injury persists, there HAS to be someone out there that can perform better than St. Juste. His lack of coverage and missed tackle on the 4th down was terrible. He did make a tackle late in the last Eagles' drive, but barely. This team is too connected and works too hard to have such a faulty player on the field in key situations. I have agreed with the majority of the new ownership's decisions. Drafting light on the O-line and keeping St. Juste are my biggest gripes. Find someone, give them good value for him, and move on. EVERY SINGLE GAME St. Juste hurts this team.

Also, return to the "Redskins" vice "Commanders". As a Cherokee, I take no offense in a sports team using my heritage to show strength, resilience, and ferocity.

Thank goodness we won. Another week with the Cowboys still being alive in the playoff hunt would suck. Do the Bucs players lift? Twice they've just had the ball taken from them.
Every single QB in the NFL has a couple bad ones.
No doubt. Another good thing about JD is his bad ones seem to come earlier in the game. He seems to play better as the game progresses. Superstar.

That would be unfortunate, especially if it means he'll miss more games. But the trade was never for just this year. Maybe he just needs to sit for the next couple weeks and hopefully be ready for the Playoffs.

I think with the small sample size we have, it is apparent that he can be a difference maker for this team for the next couple years.

This sucks. Hopefully Lattimore will take a page from Christian Watson and go to University of Wisc to get this resolved in the offseason.

Yes but the problem is this has been going on for more than this year. He has missed a ton of games over the last couple years on top of this year. The writing was already on the wall. After 3 years of this you need to ask yourself why next year is going to be different?
