Around the NFL - Week 9
So nice to have a true top 10 ranking and being in the playoff conversations already.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Anthony Richardson was tired and now he is bench for Flacco.
He’s been a massive bust |
Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
They should never have started him last year. Do a Mahomes, let the inexperienced kid learn. He may not be a bust if he can learn, but yeah, it's not a good look.
|
Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
What an idiot. He’s tired? How about your left tackle who’s fighting off a rampaging 275 lb DE every 35 seconds? How do you take yourself out when that guy remains doing his job? Or the RB who runs into those big dudes or the 245 lb linebacker coming to make the stop, or the 220 lb safety trying to do the same.
Unreal. Who would want this guy on the team? He’s done. Maybe if he sits for a long time and earns it back, he can redeem himself. But man - what a knucklehead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

He’s been a massive bust
He had around 8 starts in college. JD and Purdy had a ton and both are studs. Think this matter some? Yes kid is probably done. Quite fast. |

Not sure if he's done for the year, but I just don't expect him to have a great pro career.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
All 3 of Anthony Richardson biggest injuries when he has missed games…have been on designed runs per Warren Sharp.
Let that sink in. |

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Richardson is a mess. He's a home run hitter that bats 190.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
AR had very little college experience. It was weird they started him right away. These results should not be unexpected. I have no idea if he'll have any kind of career or not, there's a lot left for him to learn.

I'd be surprised if Richardson evolves into a quality starter in this league. JD is proof, either you have it or not. Just haven't seen enough from AR yet, although he can turn it around. He's had issues staying on the field also remaining healthy.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Pretty bad loss for the Texans, with a game against the Lions next week.
And it looks like the D. Adams has started to payoff for the Jets? |
Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Texans are starting to look like us last year; OL is going to get their QB on the treatment table.

Their bullshit oline has caught up with them and stroud looked t-e-r-r-I-b-l-e last night. Never been a Mixon fan either |

I never understood the love for Richardson after he got off to that fast start in his rookie season. That was basically a lot of big runs, it was clear to me that he doesn't throw the football well and I thought it was obvious. |
Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Damn, it feels good to have a QB. It's so weird being on this side of the fence.

I went back and watched the Bengals game from the 2nd quater last night. Through the first quater and the first 2 games I still was not sure. Will he learn to look downfield or continue to miss open receivers as his instinct was to run? That was the turning point, from that moment on he went from a possibility to a done deal. I am absolutely convinced that barring injury he is the next star of the NFL, The only thing he hasn't done already is drive the team down for a win, I don't consider a Hail Mary to be a game winning drive. But that is comming, is there any question he has It? He can throw as well as anyone in the league, not only can he run he has shown the ability to avoid a free rusher and juke a linebacket and get a first down, he will gut it out and be there despite injury. I can't wait to watch him play tackle football again. |

It's pretty wild. He's only going to keep getting better. Like, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Man, it really does feel fucking awesome. We all deserve this. Our dues have all been more than paid. |

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Excellent job by Atlanta putting Dallas to 3-5, apparently injured Dak some too. Falcons are quietly 6-3. Detroit pounding the Pack 24-3 in the 3rd qt. Think they're about to land Za'Darius Smith to help with the Hutchinson loss.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Sirianni goes for it on 4th & 1 up by 6 in FG range? And calls a pass play? WTF?

Siranni was jawing with a fan recently in Philly. Unique coach for sure who is unpredictable. I'd still be surprised if he's their coach long term.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Holy shit this play from Saquon Barkley. About as Barry Sanders as you gonna get from a RB these days.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Trevor Lawrence sucks. Chucks up a totally unnecessary hail mary pass to a RB, wasn't even 3rd down yet.
Grow-up and get a haircut. You're not good enough to have long hair. |

I'll take the Dallas loss any day, but Detroit and Atlanta are our competitors for a potential top seed rankings in the playoffs. Right now we're sitting in 2nd place behind Detroit and trailing Atlanta. I think the NFC Championship goes through Detroit, but would not mind a top seed for us. |

I understand we're improved and in the mix but getting the #1 overall seed is going to be VERY tough. Lions are about to add another stud pass rusher also. |

Jayden must learn to throw the ball away sooner to avoid unnecessary hits. They will most certainly shorten his career. |
Jayden must learn to throw the ball away sooner to avoid unnecessary hits. I love the way he shields his body when he runs. Another incredible part of him as a player, as he seemingly always knows when to slide/out of bounds etc. He's been amazing.

I’m definitely ok with Soriano being their long term head coach, but yes I agree. |

Re: Around the NFL - Week 9
Dallas is getting crushed on ESPN's Get Up:
McCarthy threw a headset on the sideline of the Atlanta game. Dak murmuring "We f'n suck" on the sideline, and he's hurt. Diggs getting into it with a reporter. 3-5 record and Jerry is still thinking big things this year. Good times! |

Saints fire Dennis Allen. Hope that improves our chances for a fire sale and landing Lattimore.
