In all my years I've seen us win close games at the end, but never like that. I'm still in shock! I've seen the replay at least 6 times now, and I still think I'm dreaming. I think Noah Brown feels the same way!

And I love Dan Quinn's reaction. He looked like a little kid that got a bike for Christmas 😁

Yeah man Quinn’s reaction was awesome. It was pure joy. I am still in shock myself, I think every player, coach, and fan is. As soon as that ball got batted up into the air and I saw Brown all alone I started to get wide eyed. I and honestly cannot believe it happened still.

Jon Allen has been a beast and played well at times…but liked how the Newton-Payne combo looked inside today with Mathis shining in limited snaps.

I thought the defense played well today, Caleb is slippery.

Bears defense is good and JD was banged up…but we left a lot of plays on the field and we were sloppy in execution…penalties, drops, inaccurate throws, poor blocking in pass pro, etc.

Usually luck never falls our way. Today it did. Hopefully it's a sign of the new times. You need luck to win it all. Glad to see this team consistently fighting and clawing to win these games.

I was too stunned to be that excited. And one of the nicest guys I've ever met is a Bears fan. I felt awful for him, combined with my shock, I was almost a mute after the TD. When the Bears scored, my HOA might force me to move out, based on how much I lost it lol.

crazy. Also, Caleb looked better than his stat line. Bears fans are also used to losing (like us). I imagine the winning record and real hope at QB will temper their disappointment with hindsight.

JD is still better though. I hope he stays here forever.

We finally have our Aaron Rodgers , Mahomes , Josh Allen etc.

The game is never out of reach with JD5 at QB. That kid is a SUPERSTAR and has the whole DMV and fanbase going nuts

That is exactly how I feel. Its my birthday today and that was THE most fantastic early present, especially after The Bears scored and I was thinking "that's my birthday ruined then".

Putting the miracle play aside, there are a few things that the team will need to assess this week.

Our defense played pretty well, for the most part. I loved the Payne & Newton combo, like someone (I forgot who) said in other thread yesterday, it seems like this combo played together better than Payne & Allen combo. Our secondary, well there's nothing more that needs to be said as we all already know that the secondary especially CB needs upgrade. The defense played well enough to keep us in the game and it would have been dominant if Caleb didn't wiggle out of a few sacks.

Our offense wasn't good as before, but that's to be expected against a pretty good defense, plus JD's injury. Although, we were in red zone 5-6 times and we couldn't score a TD. The false start penalties didn't help. I know we have been pretty good with red zone most of time but we must find a way to take advantage of those opportunities when we play against good defenses. Hopefully Lucas's injury isn't serious or we will get Coleman back for the next game.
