DHop to the Chiefs is a very good move.

I wonder if the 49ers are kicking themselves for being too slow? Top 2 receivers out, no obvious replacement and now one of the better (best?) receivers in the league off the board. 🤔

I do find it amusing that they talk about the Eagles being the team they expected to see. This was the Giants, not the Lions, Vikings, Commanders etc. Lets see what they look like against a winning team. Oh we did, and they got their asses handed to them by the Vikings and Buccs. Let's see how they do against an improving Bengals team before we anoint them as SB contenders. 🙄

They host Dallas Sunday night who will be off a bye. Need to win that one to help us also.

I don't know how the Bengals lost to the Patriots, but that win against them is going to be one of our best wins of the season when it's all said and done. Any team that has a healthy Burrow, Higgins, Chase is a tough team to beat, especially on the road.

He was incredible in this game and would not let use lose. One of the more enjoyable victories in a long time.

Without AJ brown the eagles are a different team on offense. They still aren't great on defense and jaylen hurts is mediocre at best. We will struggle against them because of our secondary but... we would as usual need a very good game from JD5 to beat them or beat them handedly as with any team with a decent offense and top tier weapons.

Devonta Smith is a very good receiver, but Eagles are for more formidable on offense with both. Brown torched us last year in Philly with a tough loss.

In 7 day span Davante Adams, lost to the Steelers was traded to a new team and lost to the Steelers.

Rumour is he's being traded to the Giants this week so he can lose to the Steelers 3 games in a row. 😁

It seems like the season is already over for them. Just a few days after being traded to Jets, Adams is already complaining about the team's mindset. Hard for any coaches to successfully coach up a team when players aren't fully committed.

Terrible missed face mask call by refs seals Rams upset. Vikings only had a slim chance, but this will go on NFL refereeing lowlights reel

I cant believe shit like that when it happens. Loss for words when the game is potentially influenced THAT significantly on a bad or blown call.

There are no quarterbacks on the field today during the media-viewing portion. Why? They’re throwing in the bubble.

Keim thinks it's Mariota on Sunday.

Re: Around the NFL week 8

This isn't a "must-win" game. I have no problem with the team choosing to be abundantly cautious w/ Jayden, if they choose to be.

If we can play turnover free ball, pound Robinson down their throats, and hit some passes here and there we can still win with Mariota (didn't think this before last week or after his 1st few passes).

Defense needs to step up big time this week.

they need to fix that as the NFL says penalties are not reviewable, even in instant booth review.

Every single play should be reviewable. There should not be 1 call on the field that cannot be challenged. It doesn't make sense why a penalty that all but ended the game cannot be challenged but you can challenge a 5-yard completion call in the 1st drive of the game if you want. Teams should get 2 challenges (then a 3rd if they were right on the 1st 2) then those can be used for EVERYTHING that happens during the game.

Either that, or the auto instant booth crap needs to at least be able to call obvious calls that are wrong no matter what.

I'm not a fan of the auto-instant replay, but yeah, if they're using it, it should be used correctly. I'd rather give more challenges to the teams, then controlled by the league itself.

I kind of like the instant for the obvious mistakes as it is much faster and doesn't interrupt the game nearly as much.

I can see the merits, but I think if you get 2 or 3 challenges a game, you wouldn't need those. I don't think there are more than 4 truly blatant calls during the average NFL game where just letting the teams choose themselves, would be an unnecessary burden. But that's just my opinion.

surprised at the Baltimore loss to the Browns. Jerry is looking super old in his booth and Dallas looks like it's heading for a loss. Pretty nice Sunday all things considered.

Im surprised Watson played for so many weeks, surprised also that Winston wasn’t the next man up. Not that I expected that them to beat Baltimore but Winston is easily the best quarterback on that roster.

Browns has been trying to justify their decision to trade for Watson.. They gotta accept the mistake and move on with Winston or a new QB next year.

Dallas loses again at SF. Their skill positions are not good other than Lamb who is a great player. People wonder why Dak keeps throwing ints. He has virtually no running game and not a lot of receiving options other Lamb. He has to attempt to move the ball even with risky passes. Nice victory Niners!

Grotesquely overpaid and underperforming and bringing some highly unpleasant legal issues also. I'll always wonder if they regretted parting ways with Mayfield.

it was worse than a free agent signing as they game up 3 1's and more to trade for him, then gave him that huge contract . . . thank God little Danny was out of money by then or it might have been us!!!

Also, the picks that Houston got in that trade allowed them to trade up and get Will Anderson right after they got CJ Stroud.
