Fire Ron Rivera Now - Post Game Thread
Get this fucking loser out of town. Take JDR with him.
|
Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
Ron Rivera has been a loser for years. So has JDR. There is absolutely no reason to keep them around. Harris needs to do his first owner thing and fire them tomorrow. Promote EB. Forbes needs to sit and eat cheeseburgers until he pukes and hit the weights until he pukes again. 30 spot again given up by this trainwreck defense. Our oline does not have a single guy that needs to be retained.
This team for four years comes out of the gates like it is the first time they have ever played the sport. Not one guy from the draft that is contributing even a little bit because Ron acts like we have a competitive football team and he can draft for the future. We needed 4 guys minimum that would contribute. We got none. He is a worse GM than he is a HC. What is this going to be 10 out of 13 losing seasons? How the hell do you have a job? This season is over BUT it was always doomed because Harris came into the picture too late to change anything. The future may be bright, it cannot be worse than it’s been. First order of business find a HC. As pissed off as I am right now there is a silver lining. Professionals will come here to play for and coach for Josh. Not washed up losers who nobody else will hire. Gotta keep that in mind because its going to be a long ass season. |
Re: Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
I already had a thread. Need another merger lol.

Re: Fire Ron Rivera Now - Post Game Thread
The sad thing is I'm not even all that upset. It's just standard Rivera led football. And really, Washington football for the last 20ish years.

Re: Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
Beat me by 30 seconds. But I wrote a lot so technically started it before you. Lol. Ill just head over there.

Re: Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
We both hate Rivera so much we were firing up our threads before the game was even over.

Fire both Rivera and JDR tonight, save the season. How can this motherfuckers not motivate this high dollar D? Fitzmagic was on the money with his comment, they can play with anybody but when they play shitty teams they play to shit level. FUCKING INEXCUSABLE!!!!

Fire Ron Rivera Now - Post Game Thread
Can’t even be mad. I know im beating a dead horse but this is nothing more than the stench of Snyders shit lingering. Obviously JDR and Ron will be sent packing. Id like to see it immediately because there is a chance than that the team responds. We could consider it a tryout for EB. If we leave those two knuckleheads here there is absolutely zero chance.
I think Howell can be the guy. Our holes are obvious. Oline, Secondary, LB’s. Oh and kicker go fuck yourself Slye. You miss too many easy ones. Those are holes that can be fixed with cap space and a draft. We got a ton of cap and a full draft. I completely trust Josh to get a GM, HC, DC in here. Keep EB as OC or promote idc. Honestly the future is bright and full of promise because we cut off the head of the snake. The body is still wriggling around but it will stop and it will be tossed in the trash. 40-20. My God. I hear one person defend Ron and Im going to lose my shit. |
Re: Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
He can take Martin and Marty along with him, though in Mayhew's defence I think he has been trying to draft OL high the last two years but I get the sense Ron blocked him.
|
Re: Fire Ron Rivera Now - Post Game Thread
One more thing. Good for you Justin Fields. Seems like a good kid. He is going to be a pro for a long time.
|
Re: Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
Its interesting and revealing that if you consider the best players on the team, pretty much all of the best talent was already here before Ron arrived. Not sure that in four years he has genuinely added a single high level talent to the roster, maybe Jahan..

Yup. I was literally like ill show him im gonna start a post game thread before the game is over! Haha. |
Re: Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
Owners taking notice
Earvin Magic Johnson - Tonight the Commanders played with no intensity or fire. We didn’t compete in the first half and got down 27-3 heading into halftime. It was too big of a hole to climb out of and that is why we ended up losing 40-20.
|

I think I'd go that route as this is probably a lost season. Hell! The team might show some spryness with a change. |

I think Ron did all he could tonight.

If this is all he could do, then that's even more of a reason to get rid of him. His best is doo-doo butter. |
Re: Fire Ron Rivera Now - Post Game Thread
This loss is just so bad. Ron should fire Del Rio tomorrow. Harris needs to fire Ron the second the season is over.

High dollar D line. Not D. Our secondary and our LB’s are jags or worse. |

I really think the secondary would look better with better coaching. Hell! Maybe the LBs would be halfway serviceable with better coaching as well. This team, particularly, the defense isn't being coached up. I'd forced Rivera to fire JDR tomorrow. If he doesn't, then I'd fire both tomorrow. |
Re: Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
Brian Mitchell should be hired to give everybody shit and call them all pussies.

Sean McVay has 13 rookies starting and they are competitive. What's Ron's excuse with an all star roster? COACHING

He did though. He did all he could tonight to solidify the fact that he won't be here too much longer. |

Da Bears!

Re: Fire Ron Rivera Now - Post Game Thread
At the very least JDR has to go. We've got 40mil invested in 2 DL players, and a #2 overall pick in DE and another 1st round pick DL. All together we've got 4 first round picks on the DL and we can't get anything going.
Either it's one of these two things: 1) We have a ton of talent that isn't coached or schemed properly. 2) We have mediocre talent overall and poor pickers of talent. Either way, somebody needs to go. How are we right at the salary cap, yet still a sub .500 team? That generally means you are overpaying people when you shouldn't or your team is under-performing greatly. If your team that is even close to the cap, your team should be performing or at least being competitive. |
Re: Fire Ron Rivera Now - Post Game Thread
Yep, I'm right there with you. Through 5 games with all these high draft picks and each week you are allowing 30+ points...JDR has to be shown the door tomorrow.

I put that in here, just to see what it would look like when you lost your shit... I'm disappointed...
Sorry to disappoint lol. Outside of a good ole fashioned game thread i don’t lose my shit because I know Ron won’t be here next year. That writing has been on the wall a while. Honestly i can deal with this year because im happy snyder is gone. Competence and competitiveness are right around the corner. It will get cleaned up. I’ve waited almost 25 years thinking the day would never come. I will gladly wait one more knowing it will. |
Re: Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
I want to see wholesale changes on defense in the next 10 days, starting with firing JDR before the weekend.
I want to see Jabril Cox, Jamin Davis, and Khaleke Hudson as the primary LBs in the next game. It's easy to bench Forbes, but I didn't agree with that call. St Juste and Fuller looked just as bad or worse - and the safeties were no help tonight. Let Forbes stay in there and take his lumps - and maybe make a play. Have to get more out of this D-line. A play here and there isn't good enough. Lose 2 of the next 3 and it's time to start trading mother fuckers for whatever you can get before the trade deadline. |
Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
Forbes was beyond bad tonight. I really liked the pick. Thought he was going to be a better tackler than advertised. Might take an L on that one. His penchant for going for the big play and whiffing will work itself out. He is just over pressing. He has to just cover his guy. The big plays will come but you can’t force them. It seems like the more he screws up the more he forces them. Like he is going to get a pick 6 and everyone is going to forget everything that happened so far.
|
Re: Most disgusting game ever postgame fire everyone thread.
Fuller did the exact same thing on that last TD, and St Juste got burned himself. They were all bad tonight...out of position too often. JDR has to go.
