NFL Week 15
Clinging to that 7th seed with a critical Division / Conference game on the horizon (and three more after that).
Nate Orchard is back, so nothing to worry about. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/12/14/washington-signs-nate-orchard-off-of-packers-practice-squad/ |
Re: NFL Week 15
Four weeks to go, and 28 teams still in playoff contention. Detroit, Jacksonville, NY Jets, and Houston all eliminated. It's possible 20+ of those 28 could go down to the last week or two.

This is what the NFL has wanted for years, parody until the last weekend. |

Learn something new every day. I been saying parody for my entire life. Lol. Thanks SC. |
Re: NFL Week 15
I'm pretty sure if Parsons was drafted and playing for the Colts, this would not be a conversation:
@WerderEdESPN Any discussion about Micah Parsons and Lawrence Taylor should be limited to comparing their impact as rookies and whether Parsons joins Taylor as the only rookie to win DPOY Award. As Parsons says today, LT might be the greatest defensive player ever. He’s on short list for sure. |

Re: NFL Week 15
So far Parsons has been the real deal, I had my fingers crossed on draft night he'd slide to us. Hell I wouldn't even have hated trading up for him. The talk of him being the next LT though, please, everyone needs to slow the F down on that.

Re: NFL Week 15
His play definitely makes you forget he allegedly sexually assaulted teammates at Penn St

Re: NFL Week 15
Urban Meyer out after 11 games. What a clown. It was almost like he wanted to be fired the way he acted.

+1 I think the lesson here is being a great player can get you a pass in a lot of areas. |

Re: NFL Week 15
Urban Meyer… what a dick
|
Re: NFL Week 15
It took their Rookie QB to come out and publicly say "the drama has to stop" in order to fire him lol The Jags are a mess

Ego outweighing ability?

Re: NFL Week 15
Surely he can never get another head coaching gig... High School maybe...

Sure why not, especially if that HS wants to set a good example for the kids. |

Inbound to some top 25 college program probably. Unfortunately his college record probably means he will always have a job offer somewhere. Just now we get to add another title to his resume. Urban Meyer x3 college football champion 187-32 college football record Quite possibly the worst college coach ever to fail in the NFL |
Re: NFL Week 15
I wonder how UM treats college students, after hearing how he treats grown professional men. What a complete D-BAG.
|
Re: NFL Week 15
Well, sure he has enough money from the Jags to pay for all the lap dances he needs...

Oh sure he can, go check out Bobby Petrino's resume. |
Re: NFL Week 15
Bryce Rossler @btrossler
As much as Urban Meyer deserved to lose his job, people are too content to celebrate firings and don’t stop to think about the human element of this and how it affects the families of the coaches. Urban’s family has to spend more time with him now, and that’s totally fucked. |
Re: NFL Week 15
This d-bag is at it again apparently, this place checked him hard though lol

That guy is going to spend the rest of his life being a little bitch. I hope someone knocks him the fuck out. Preferably his brother.

Re: NFL Week 15
Yesterday:
“We can’t apply 2020 solutions to the 2021 problems we’re having,” NFL Chief Medical Officer Allen Sills said, adding the league does not expect to return to the 2020 policy dictating daily testing for the virus. “Testing is one of the tools that we have at our disposal, and it's a very useful tool in certain areas,” Sills said. “But what testing doesn't do is prevent transmission, and we've known that always. … What we're trying to do is prevent spread within the facility and keep people from testing positive.” It's the blind leading the blind here. While testing doesn't 'in and of itself' prevent transmission, knowing who is positive and being able to react to that in a timely manner would in fact prevent transmission. |
Re: NFL Week 15
Now Browns’ QB Case Keenum has tested positive for COVID, leaving QB Nick Mullens in line to start Saturday vs. the Raiders, sources tell
@ByKimberleyA , @FieldYates and me. Baker Mayfield already has tested positive and is on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. |
Re: NFL Week 15
Also side note but Dan Orlovsky is so hard to listen too… Dude literally says everyone Is the best

Yeah he does. Lol. Carson Wentz is the greatest quarterback in history too. |

Daily testing would mean limiting the spread and helping ensure teams don't put 20 players and 11 starters on the covid list days before a critical game against a division rival. Also - daily testing would limit transmission because you would immediately isolate players who have tested positive vs. testing them once every two weeks. Gonna start tagging Allen Sills as a league hack. |
Re: NFL Week 15
They left too much time on the clock. Herbert is going to win this probably.

Re: NFL Week 15
Is gonna come down to Hopkins to win it.
Is gonna come down to Hopkins to win it.
I didn't get the call to go for it on 4th down on the 1st drive, I didn't get the following ones... The Chargers should've been leading 20-10 at the half... I get the "we are facing the Chiefs we need TD not FG" thinking, but context is everything, it was not that type of game early on. |
Re: NFL Week 15
Mahomes is so damn clutch
|
Re: NFL Week 15
oofff.....Chargers let this one slip away. Great game either way though.
