Yesterday was my birthday. I thought I would stay up until my birthday ended - drinking some Jameson... Well it's gone, and now it's bed time, but since it's also Monday, I thought I would get this thread going.

I just hope they don't lay an egg tonight. There is a lot to play for all of a sudden, and it would be nice to see them keep the momentum going.

I'm honestly not sure what to expect from either team, but Prime Time has not been too bad lately for the WFT, and I look for that trend to continue.

Happy belated Chief - hope the WFT gives you a nice birthday present tonight.

It's 5:54 ET and my alternative is catching up on work emails so here we are.

I'm predicting an L because my predictions always seem to fail in regards to football. So the final score will be 28-24 Seahawks.

Injury report says starting G Damien Lewis is out for the Seafucks.

Skins starters Cosmi and Larsen out. Sounds like schweitzer and ismael at C.

The Washington Football Team received good news Saturday.

TE Logan Thomas and WR Curtis Samuel are both looking like they will be able to play on Monday Night Football when the Seattle Seahawks invade Fed Ex Field.

Head Coach Ron Rivera made it clear that both Thomas and Samuel would be on a pitch count (snap count) and that the medical personnel will monitor closely both returning players.



Curtis Samuel on his injury: "I didn't imagine it to go this long. It's really crazy. It's frustrating. … When you want to be out there so bad and something like this happens, it brings you down a little bit. I had a lot of people in my corner to help get my spirits up."

Winning the Time of Possession battle will be key. Need to keep Russ on the sidelines, run the hell out of the ball, and score early.

We need to run run run and run some more on O. If we establish the run early and often than let Heineke open it up. Samuel, and LT both back. I feel pretty good about this game.

Do not let Russ extend plays.

Too bad we don’t play Dallas next week, MNF at home and up big in the fourth quarter would be a beautiful time for a “WE WANT DALLAS” chant.

I am fighting the urge to get sucked back in, we get our hopes up some much just for this team to pull the rug from under us time after time ... we are 4-6, have a shit defense, a online college QB ... but I cant disagree with this.

We win tonight ... we are right in the mix of things.

I'm not a fan of adding more playoff teams. But that extra spot definitely increases our odds with a win tonight. We would be tied with 3 other teams at 5-6 for the last playoff spot. And 1 game behind 9ers for the 6th spot. It will be a dogfight but definitely a realistic possibility to get in.

Thomas and Samuel will both be active tonight. Definitely should be a boost for our offense. Just work Curtis Samuel back in slowly. Like to have him for the next 6 weeks +

Why was Cosmi placed on IR today? What'd I miss on him, I thought he just came back. Did he get snagged during the Carolina game?

Sam Cosmi has been dealing with multiple injuries during a rookie year that started out very promising. He suffered an ankle injury in Week 5, and didn't return until Week 10 as an emergency backup. He got the start at RT last week, but went down with a hip injury, and will now miss at least 3 weeks while on IR.

Per hog haven. Seems like one injury after another which is a shame cause he’s been balling

Wild card we can our Division. We had the right teams lose this past weekend now we need a big win. I think if our D can jump on them early it will knock their confidence. Then run the ball and we can win.

Seriously because of how we started the season the rest of the year is nothing but code reds. We almost cannot lose another game. Certainly not against a 3-7 team at home.

I am hoping getting Logan and Samuel back for some plays will help out TH and keep the offense fresh, but Wilson can pull out games if our offense stumbles.
