K.C Pregame Thread

I'm not at all up for this game one bit, in fact I have a feeling it'll be over by the 2nd QTR.

KC is coming in pissed off after a blowout L to Buffalo. Mahomes was bad as was Hill, I expect both to light our sorry ass Defense up Sunday.

Our offense has potential against their poor D but I just don't have any trust in our team.

KC - 42
WFT - 20

I am calling it now-
WFT 35
KC 31

Now I will defend it.

It's Wednesday, at work, and finishing lunch, listening to another one bites the dust.

That really should be enough. I can't give any football rationale for it.

KC - score unavailable due to the score being above the scoring system's characters limit
WFT - 17

Re: K.C Pregame Thread

Washington is not much better defensively. The Football Team allows the second-most points behind Kansas City, giving up 31 per game. WFT dropped to 2-3 on the year with a 33-22 loss to New Orleans. The 369 yards Washington gave up were the fewest allowed this season, which is all you need to know about the defense. Expect points, points and maybe some more points when these two meet Sunday. An opening point total of 54.5 is a very viable play this weekend.

KC's defense is a bottom feeder like ours. Could be a shoot-out.

The defenses might be equally terrible, but I don't see how we score more than them. Whoever gets the ball last wins, in this case it's KC.

Another close loss.

KC - 31
WFT - 29

Don't think I will watch Sunday. Rivera has never been an acceptable coach IMO. His team had 3 winning seasons in 10 years. Granted, they went 15 - 1his second year but it was all down hill from there. Good luck WFT.

Carolina went 15-1 in 2015 which was his 5th year there. He was also in Carolina for 9 years not 10, and had 3 winning seasons (2013, 15, 17). But I agree with you that he's not a very good coach.

The Falcons hung 30 on us. The only way KC doesn’t get a 50 burger is if they just don’t feel like it.

Man do I hope I’m wrong.

Re: K.C Pregame Thread

Sorry but I'm a bit amused by this "KC gets it right against us" narrative... Cause I don't think they really got it wrong.
They beat a really good team in the Browns, and annihilated the Eagles.
3 losses to 3 excellent teams. One by a point another by 6.

I watched their loss to the Bills, it was bad. But don't think Mahomes somehow doesn't have it anymore: he had one killer pick 6 of a bad drop by Hill, another tough pick on an incredible play by a DE in the redzone. Then a bad looking fumbled snap that he couldn't recover. Take away those 3 plays and it's a whole different ball game.
Yes he was surprisingly inaccurate at times, but he still made some Mahomeslile plays.

Point is, we're about to get hammered, blasted, destroyed, stomped, dismantled so badly Pornhub wouldn't even allow this game on their site...

Thankfully we have the name change and the dirty leaked emails to talk about !

Of course this game is fucking televised here on cbs. [emoji1750]

We are going to get absolutely annihilated. This is a game that our offense has to excel, and whereas everyone is thinking TH will hold us back, it will be Scott Turner. He will immediately get into an air war with one Patrick Mahommes. The sane thing to do would be feed Gibson the ball, and keep the ball away from Mahommes but he won’t.

21-0 after the first. It is over early.
I don’t think I have to attach teams to the scores. We all know.

The only saving grace is Mahommes is my fantasy quarterback and even we could beat my fantasy team.

Mine too...

But if we lose I'm disinclined to point to Turner being the likely cause. If it goes like Buffalo (though admittedly and much better D than KC) we could be 3 scores down by the 2nd quarter and have no choice but to to try to catch up. Else you're running the ball to mitigate damage in a lost cause; tantamount to resigning your coaching position.

Only way we win this is if the D finally find their backside without needing both hands and work out how to play effectively. But with Mahomes mobility and Hill's speed, I'm not at all confident. I say we get a late score but still lose by 2 TD's.

Supposedly it's been in the works for a while, but by announcing it now it seems like a distraction for the other shit in the news now. Shame that this honor is being tarnished just a bit. FFS with this team already, always finding ways to fuck shit up.

They announced Bobby Mitchell's jersey retirement in June for a September ceremony.

They announced Sean Taylor's jersey retirement on Oct. 14th for an Oct. 17th ceremony.

Forgive my skepticism.

How shitty is that they are announcing just a few days before it is happening. They announced the Bobby Mitchell retirement the summer before last season I believe.
