Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
Just saw an article about how he didn’t feel wanted in DC but feels wanted in Seattle. And now wanted by the police. Trade looking better.

I followed him on IG too. And not an overexaggerattion, I don't think I understood one thing he ever tried to say. |
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
How bout that 5th round pick?

Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
Don't keep it real!
In all seriousness, if he was involved with this, I hope he can get his life straightened out, and live a happy/successful life. Whether that's with football or not. |
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
I know squat about Dunbar but these guys have screwed their careers and lives up big time. Baker is done!

This site is supposed to be my momentary escape from the rest of the world's many problems. I'm not knocking you for posting it, sdskinsfan. You have a good heart. I'm just sick of reading about this stuff. So, from now on, I say "AMF" (adios) to those who had it made and then threw it away by committing crimes because they would not change their lifestyles and avoid negative influencers in order to keep it. |
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
I hope he wasn’t involved from a human being point of view but if he was - so happy he isn’t a Redskin from a football fan point of view.

My mind just can't get over how dumb one has got to be to piss away opportunities like that... that's an insult to people busting their asses and not getting 10% of those opportunities in they entire life. |

Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
The article seems to imply they robbed guys that beat them out of $70k in poker a couple nights before. I guess that is the epitome of being a sore loser.
|
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
Well, we dodged a bullet on this one.. Dunbar had a chance to become a really good player and he had to waste it on $70k?
|
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
I think we're starting to get a glimpse into how deep the character problems might have been running in the Jay Gruden locker room. Montae doing dumb shit. Dunbar doing dumb shit and getting caught once he was gone, but if he made this mistake on May 13 what other dumb shit did he do as a Redskin and just wasn't caught?
I'm 100% behind Ron getting rid of all dudes who are perpetually injured or just stupid like this. |
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
Big win for Ron getting a 5th for this bum
|
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
Think about it, Dunbar was a good season away from a very nice payday. My lord what a dope.

Unfortunately sometimes when all you know is the streets, nothing can change you even $$. They both just ended their careers most likely, especially after Hernandez, teams won't even attempt this anymore

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I looked up Dunbar past this morning and was trying to find a Miami connection...well he was born and raised in Miami. You know the first guy I thought about...and how he was able to change, but the shit still caught up to him even when he had found a way out. Dunbar is way different and he is 27...at that age you should be leading young guys like Baker, not following orders participating in a robbery. Sounds like to me, Dunny had was trying to be a gangster. So dumb and ignorant |
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
Man, I was hoping we would hold on to him too, and wasn't real happy about giving him up for a 5th round pick. However, it's looking like a steal at this point. What a friggin' knucklehead... I'll never understand how these guys can throw away so much with these asinine decisions. O well, I don't feel sorry for him. Maybe this will wake his stupid ass up - maybe not.
Let's go Khaleke Hudson! |
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
I wonder if he and his accomplices found out they lost $70k in a rigged card game and this was retaliation. Your know, with marked cards and people dealing off the bottom of the deck. Inquiring minds want to know. Supposedly O.J. went and got back his stolen stuff with armed men, we all know how that went. Looks like the same scenario from early media reports.

Yes, I am aware of that. I'm just saying let's go for the draft pick we got for Dumbar. I hope Hudson balls out. |
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
Who ever called it , good call on the Dunbar trade. These guys are toast. Especially Baker .....the dumb shit!

I'm just not in a place where I have compassion for the guy right now, because of how stupid this is. But, being that I'm neither a god of any sort nor the justice system, he's not mine to judge as a human being... (but his actions sure were mind bogglingly dumb). |
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
If Dunbar was stupid enough to have done this, then lock his dumb ass up,ain't no sorrow here for a guy that plays a game for a living and is well paid wanting to be a criminal,we'll see how hard he is in prison.

May not of felt wanted in DC but he will be feeling wanted in the DOC. Right in the gang shower (drop the soap fresh meat!). |
Re: Dunbar accused of armed robbery
You know I was disappointed in the Dunbar trade. I thought that Rivera could have worked harder to convince him to stay on the team, with some guaranteed money this season OR to get a higher draft pick for one of the best CB in the NFL.
But obviously Rivera saw something in his meeting with Dunbar that made him want to trade him ASAP and for a cheap price. Certainly there was some negative character or attitude issue that caused Rivera to get rid of him quickly and quietly. Looking back at this alleged crime this week, Rivera hit a home run. At least the team got SOMETHING from this potential dumpster fire. Chalk up the first victory in Rivera’s team-building and character-changing efforts. But sorry to see Dunbar self-implode, even if he was on another team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
