Biggest Impact Player from Free Agency or NFL Draft this coming 2019 Season?
 

Which new player is gonna make the biggest positive impact in this coming season?

Player I hope would be Haskins...it would be great to have an RG3 splash and lead the team towards a playoff run.

But I think Montez Sweat will come in and be a double digit sack guy for season and elevate the team towards at top 10 ranking. I think his impact will be greater than anyone else on the D.

Who you got...Rueben Foster, Sweat, a new Guard, Collins, WR, etc?

This is based on absolutely nothing, but I think Reuben Foster will absolutely change our LB corps. That being said, I think he comes in, kills it for a few games, then gets in trouble again.

Out of our rookies, I think Harmon makes the biggest impact.

I'd say Terry McLaurin.

Not because he's the most talented pickup this off-season, but because he's walking into one of our LEAST talented positions. He should stand out, if not take over/lead that group.

I think Foster will make significant impact on our LB corp too. As for getting in trouble again, perhaps we should follow Jerry Jones' strategy with Dez - hire a babysitter for Foster to keep him out of trouble.

I have a feeling that Wes Martin will steal the LG spot during the season, which will end up becoming Redskins' biggest and yet unnoticed impact player.

I see Foster getting injured before he gets in trouble. Hopefully neither occurs.

And with Martin, I hope he comes in and takes the position in camp. Link up with Scherff, absorb everything you can and get ready to play. That position has been an issue for too long.

Derrius Guice will make the single greatest impact of any player who didn't play for the Redskins last year, but of those drafted in 2019 or brought in via free agency, have to say Landon Collins.

Guice will be a monster.

I'm going with Sweat because of the benefit everyone else on the D should see from being able to apply pressure all across the line. Other LB's will be more comfortable in run support and will themselves have more chances to improve the pass rush as any O we face will have to scheme for at least 4 players applying pressure on every passing down (Sweat, Allen, Ionnidas and Kerrigan), plus with Payne in there on 1st and 2nd (and maybe 3rd down). Adding an LB on a blitz, and every OL we face will have the same issue - who do we account for? And that can only help the DB's.

I agree that McLaurin could have a big impact on a poor position, but I suspect we'll be a) run heavy and b) probably playing it conservative on passing, whichever QB plays. Regardless how he plays, if he doesn't get passes thrown to him, its going to be hard to shine. Hope I'm wrong, and I can see a scenario where Keenum is more Vikings version than Broncos version and lights it up.

RBs - Guice , Love
WRs - Terry McLaurin , Trey Quinn and Harmon.

When it comes to Receiver....if Keemun is the guy our Slot (Quinn) is gonna get a ton of work...Case throws to slot a ton. If Haskins is there, look for him to go down field with someone who is familiar: McLaurin

Harmon is a sleeper as well.

Big, physical receiver who can beat up press coverage at the LOS. Doesn't have a great amount of push vs. off coverage but efficient steps and awareness in break angles help maximize separation when breaking off his stem into the Middle of the Field or back to the LOS.

I am torn between Collins and starting left guard.

If we get solid starter out of left guard and our injures go back to a normal bell curve that will be the biggest impact for the team me thinks.

Speaking on that, O line might improve and the 3 headed combo of guice, CT and AP should prove fierce..... If our play callers and offensive game planners can fucking call more than 10 different run plays in the season.

Signing a free agent TE who is a legit dual threat would be huge.

He wouldn't even have to be a star or elite, just someone who can block their butt off and catch a pass in the flat would be a huge upgrade and translate to so many other aspects of the offense.

Haskins. If we can get similar production to what Mayfield gave Clev then hands down we're on our way. It's all about the QB. Put him in there and leave him in there.

a.k.a. Role Player. I think Flanigan might be able to do what you want. I'm looking forward to seeing how he looks this season. I think our running game would be more effective if we used a FB more. Flanigan could play that role, as well.

One of the best battles in camp will be seeing Wes Martin going against Ionnadis, Allen, Payne and Settle. This going to a telling sign if Martin is the one to claim the LG position. Should be awesome to watch the battles.

I’d have to give that honor to Sweat. I don’t foresee him having a double digit sack season (I hope I’m wrong there), but I think the he will raise up the entire defensive front level. We should have a stout D for a couple years. As of now I think we have 7 should be starters under 25.

Haskins or one the WRs has the chance to have the most visible impact though. Time will tell

TE will have to be addressed next year. No one on the street in May is going to come in and make a big difference.

I would just put him in the slot and put him as far away as possible from blocking a DE. He isn't a TE, he is a big physical receiver with strong hands and really good route running skills.

And do nothing but work on short passes with Sprinkle and Flanagan.
