We Want Dallas, We Want Dallas
Its Dallas week and we need to win this game. Its not that hard you stop Zek like we did last game and we should win. Colt beat Dallas several years back so that should help boost his confidence.
|
Re: We Want Dallas
Dallas hasn't beaten a team with a winning record.
They haven't had a 3 game win streak all year. Our D is going to play lights out, knowing that our offense is undergoing a shift. Our O will be different than the last time we played them. It's a division game and anything can happen, but we should win by a 3-6 point margin. HTTR!!! |
Re: We Want Dallas
We play better on the road, plus this game will be like a "Home game" for us , when I Went there a few years ago for the game , the amount of skins fans there was insane. I think our offense will be a little better with Colt only because he knows the system, the big Q is will Colt make the "Oh shit" throws that cost us the game.

Re: We Want Dallas
Dallas is a 7 point favorite right now in Vegas.

I might have to get in on that action, 7 points is ridiculous |
Re: We Want Dallas
The D needs to step it against up the run, been bad the last 2-3 weeks. Also, 3rd down conversion by the opposition has been atrocious, need to fix both if we are to win.

I agree, I dont see any chance this game is a win of more than 4 for either team |

Jon Allen has disappeared , if he is going to be a top 10 DE he has to stay consistent. We need the big uglys on both sides to play well or we will lose |
Re: We Want Dallas
Dallass is 0-5 this year against teams .500 or better and 5-0 against teams under.
That is all u need to know |
Re: We Want Dallas
All of my Dallas friends are talking smack because they won yesterday. Only fans I know that craw out of their hole only after a win.

Re: We Want Dallas
I’m pretty excited for this game. It has BIG implications for the division race, Colt has experience in Dallas to hopefully give him some confidence going in and a short week for Dallas to prep for the change in play calling that is coming. I liked the play from Alex for the most part this year, and I hate the way it ended for him, but I think we get a chance to see what our young receivers can do with someone willling to take a few extra chances and assess our needs better for the future at WR.

Re: We Want Dallas
"Mark Fucking Sanchez" "Why dont u bring in Joe Theisman" lmao
Michael Rapaport |

Not being a douche but that start on MNF years ago means nothing today. Dallas is a way better defense and overall team than that night. |

Michael Rapaport
Talk about desperation, at least we can call him “the dirty Sanchez”. |
Re: We Want Dallas
Just watched their game against the Falcons, their D looked better than when we faced them and the addition of Cooper seems to helps their passing game.
But I see us winning this one because I do think our D will continue giving us opportunities, and I hope the offense plays as electrified as they seemed to be after Alex's injury. As Skinsfaninok said, all we need is Colt to NOT make the "Oh shit" throw that cost us the game! Quite pumped, tough rivalry game, let's go: Skins 21 Cowboys 17 HTTR ! |

I’m not saying that because of that start he is going to come out playing like he did in that game. I get that they are a much better team now. I was just trying to say that he has experience is big divisional games that could give him confidence going in to not feel the need for the “Oh shit” throws. That game was just an easy one to point out this week in saying that over his 8 years he has played in nearly 40 games. |
Re: We Want Dallas
This is the way it should be,Redskins-Cowboys in the brawl for it all,Eagles and Giants sit at the little kids table and watch the big boys play..I'm not concerned about Colt the stupid playcalling is what concerns me,you all are aware that our genius coach cost us the game yesterday..Gruden's gotta go!!

Re: We Want Dallas
I think the run defense has suffered because the team has been focusing on not giving up big plays. Amari Cooper is not DeAndre Hopkins or Mike Evans, so the focus of the defense will be stopping the run. It would be helpful to have Dunbar back. I think that JNo, Ha Ha, and Dunbar would be able to take care of the receivers, allowing DJ and the everybody else to focus on the run.
|
Re: We Want Dallas
Dunbar is probable per Jay.
TW is still Q |
Re: We Want Dallas
Per Tarik El-Bashir:
Thursday's meeting between the #Redskins and #Cowboys will be the ninth meeting between the clubs on Thanksgiving. Dallas owns a 7-1 record in those games. Interestingly (to me, anyway) the Skins are 0-3 on my birthday, which also falls on Thanksgiving sometimes. Let’s make it 7-2!! |

Jesus, it's that bad?

Re: We Want Dallas
Gotta good feeling about this one...Dallas is playing well, especially their defense. Zeke has been killing it...we must stop him
Stop zeke and we win period. |
Re: We Want Dallas
Allex has been average at best this season, kinda disappointing

Stop zeke and we win period.
That's my worry. He is playing out of his mind recently, and our run defense has been trending down. Gotta get the 'Bama boys psyched up for this one to shut him down. Also I feel like it's shameful to admit, but I'm low-key a Trey Quinn fanboy now. If his TD celebration is at all like his 5 yard gain celebration, we are in for a treat. |
Re: We Want Dallas, We Want Dallas
Skins will have a target on Zeke, I think they’ll jacked up to stop him

I dont think we shut him down like the first game but I don't see him going for 150 either |

This is not true. As of now, we are: 5th in scoring D (credit where it's due, they can move the ball against us through the air but we stiffen up at the goal line) 15th in total yards 6th in rushing D 24th in pass D |

Why, because we are the better team, we actually have the better coach, and we have more heart especially on defense. All of that to a Skins fan viewing it through recent goggles can only translate into an incredibly disappointing Turkey day game... |

U have to make Dak beat u, that is always the key. He can't pass |

Those are the two that matter for this game. Dak isnt putting 400 yards through the air on us like in our losses. When we have played run centric teams our d has been stifling. The only way we lose this games is if we beat ourselves. |
Re: We Want Dallas
Honestly if the team isn't pumped for this game they don't deserve to contend for the division.

My experience as a fan, WR have always been my favorite players in the league, The Posse and Santana Moss...they are my all favorite Skins players sans Sean Taylor. I want that player again on the team. |
