R.I.P. thread
Figured why not have a collective thread for this topic...
Man, what a legend we lost today Aretha Franklin Had Power. Did We Truly Respect It? |
Re: R.I.P. thread
Still the best female singer all time...strongest female voice hands down. Said it today and someone mentioned Beyoncé...she’s garbage compared to Aretha...not close voice-wise

LOL Remember not to put too much stock in the preseason. The Skins plan to get Alex Smith on the move, throwing on the run and stuff. It will look quite a bit different than it did with Cousins, resulting in unscheduled plays and improv type stuff. We haven't seen any of it yet - Jay's not tipping his cards with it in the preseason. It may have the impact of freezing linebackers for a split second which may be all our shit ass running game needs to look a little better. Have faith. |
Re: R.I.P. thread
We will see. Not a lot to be exicited unless the prospect of going 9 and 7 gets you hard and that is best case.
|
Re: R.I.P. thread
Just found out couple days ago Aretha had a kid at 12!! WTF!? Then said fuck it let me get knocked up again and have another one at 14:censored:

Re: R.I.P. thread
This will be taken down shortly but live stream captured some audio from the shooting at the Madden tourny in Jacksonville today.
-Don't watch if you are sensitive to the sound of people dying- https://youtu.be/UfFAQlHOlgM RIP to those that died because one pissy kid can't handle losing. |

So much for the "stand you ground Law". No it's not the reason this happen I know that but to allow anyone to carry a gun around at anytime will do nothing but start trouble.

Re: R.I.P. thread
When dealing with mentally unstable people, it is so hard to come up with a valid solution to handling it properly and not stepping on their rights, that we are all so lucky to enjoy. Most people with mental issues don't commit violence, but there is a higher % that do, than the overall citizenry. I honestly don't know what the answer is, but in terms of government spending, I'm becoming more and more for spending whatever is necessary to find the best possible solution. Its so sad what happened. What should have been a great event for people that enjoy those type tournaments turned into a nightmare for everyone there. Especially the people who lost someone they cared about. It just sucks.

R.I.P. Marty Balin
Jefferson Airplane was a truly great American Band of the 60's and 70's . I wasn't a great admirer of the later incarnations of the band but I can remember them at Woodstock ,I was not there, I was 10 but they were one of the "big ones there" .Grace Slick when she was young was hot!
