It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
Alright guys! Dallas on Thursday night. I think they're prime for a butt-whippin'!
|
Re: It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
Im looking forward to this game...ill be taking my laptop home with me from work Thursday, because if we lose....the massive hangover will make Friday a work-from-home day.
I think the game will be close and hinges on which defense can play the most consistent. Skins 28-Boys 20 |
Re: It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
First I am rooting for the Skins ...God I hate JJ and Garret but I did have a question to the fans. How do you guys feel about two games in a row on Thursday night? I would hate it.Except for Thanksgiving the Thursday night game suck.

It’s better than a Sunday - Thursday when the Thursday game is on the road! They pulled that crap on us either last year or the year before? I believe the Sunday game was a night game too? Packers than Dallas I believe. Now that was some bullshit. |
Re: It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
They own us as of late BUT they don't have Zeke and Lee is still banged up.
I think we will smash Perine again and Kirk will have a good say off the play fake. Skins 27 Boys 20. Doc gets 70 yards and 1 td Perine 102 yards Kirk 280 yards 3 tds |

Re: It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
The way Dallas has imploded lately I am shocked they are still favored by 1.5.

I love it! Sunday games start at 10AM out west so a loss will F up the rest of my day. I enjoyed having last sunday free and clear of this teams bullshit. |
Re: It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
I like Dak, but what has transpired since last year's playoff game, leaves no question in my mind that Romo should've been the starter in that playoff game, and perhaps he would be the starter still... I know of Romo's troubles staying healthy, but when healthy, is there any doubt that Romo was a superior QB? Oh well, another season down the crapper...
cowboyuptx, Friday at 1:34 AM #3 WillieBeamen, Old'Boyfan, jwooten15 and 14 others like this ^^ ouch, 17 posters agree with this. I feel a little better now. |

Re: It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
Yeah. Zeke is 3-0 against us. Dak was just along for the ride.
|
Re: It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
I have to admit, it's not normal having such a big, rivalry game on Thursday Night (unless it's Thanksgiving.) But, the upside is that the next day is Friday and if I have to stay up late, I can suffer through one sleepy day at work before the weekend.

Whew, Cowboys talking heads giving some respect to the Skins:
"Why Cowboys can't look past the Redskins: Think about it: The Redskins are sitting at 5-6, too. They're playing without seven starters. They lost two of their three best pass rushers early on, Trent Murphy in training camp and Jonathan Allen in the first month of the season. Three offensive linemen are gone. [Kirk] Cousins loses his two best receivers, Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson in free agency. His next-best-guy Jordan Reed can't stay healthy, can't stay on the field. He's down to his third running back, and yet they're still 5-6. They're competitive. Cousins is second only to [Tom] Brady in passing yards. He's averaged 8.1 yards a pass. They're doing it with an injury-riddled roster without weapons, I don't know why the Cowboys can't. You look at the Vikings, you lose your quarterback in the first game, your running back three weeks in. And that was supposed to help your defense. Well, their defense doesn't need any help. You need good coaching, you need good depth. And right now the Cowboys lack both." lol...that's right https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2017/11/28/gosselin-matter-think-jason-garrett-still-coaching-cowboys-next-year Some fans here need to understand that too...especially when its comes down to the job Jay G has done.... |

Give him a season where there's a limited number of players going to IR and Cousins with a full compliment of weapons, and see if Gruden can't get them into the playoffs. If not, then yeah, kick him to the curb, but this team could've easily packed it in by now. |

You know Eli's stats are better than Dak's ,no star running back, no star receivers,no star O line. |

Re: It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
Im having trouble getting pumped up for this game. Just bummed that we have a good team who played well enough to be playoff contenders but injuries and a crazy NFC standings have made even 10-6 not likely to be WC.
I saw a blue chrysler 300 this morning with a dallas sign on it and I was all ready to cut in front of it and slam on my brakes ... but i just couldnt do it. Didnt have the energy. Didnt have that white searing blinding hate that turns me into a mad man. |
Re: It's Freakin' Dallas Week! HTTR!!!
We'd be in better position for the playoffs had Gruden not choked the Saints game away. He's doing a great job getting all the guys prepared to play and they play hard, that seems to never be an issue. What I'd like to see these last 5 games is no game management issues. No issues during 2 minute.

man Drew Brees is a boss. That guy took over the game. That game hurt....Doctson drop pass vs KC hurt....the phantom strip sack vs Philly on a final drive of the hurt. We haven't gotten the bounces to win some this year, but we have been gritty. Id say the only game where we were just outplayed, outcoached was the Vikings game. That was just an ass whipping. Poor play and coaching |

Yup. As a Redskins fan I find it hilarious they are benching him so they can tank the season away, but dude was by all accounts a leader in the locker room, and all he ever did was show up to work and play on Sundays. They did him dirty. |

But anytime you let a team go 85 yards in 4 plays and like 30 seconds that is a coaching issue. And not to mention the 3rd and half a yard. I have a feeling that game is going to comeback and bite us. Plus there are many other issues w/ Gruden and the clock. I'd be willing to give him slack on it if this was his 1st year, we're in year 4, there shouldn't be any issues. |

I have never liked Eli. He always has that pouty expression (and I still think he acted like a petulant child when he was drafted when he refused to go to the Chargers and had his dad intervene), and I dislike the Giants immensely. Having said that, 204 starts in a row is an extraordinary accomplishment, as are the 2 SBs (neither of which they were favored to win, if memory serves), and what he has done for that franchise is undeniable. Since he took over the helm in NY, we have started: Brunell, Ramsey, Campbell, Collins, McNabb, Grossman, Beck, RGIII, McCoy, and Cousins. The NYG are treating him really poorly at this stage in his career, and he's been classy about it. I hope the football gods curse that franchise for decades for doing this. |
