Packer's Post-Game: How do you like me now?!

Great Great win. Only 80 hours to Dallas.

Kirk was an absolute assassin tonight.

AC/DC Big Balls award to Jay Gruden on 4th and 1 call.

Nice to beat a team and have the game over before the two minute warning.

HTTR!!!!

Let's repeat this performance in Dallas then have a nice 10 day break. Would love to see us shut those 2 young punks Prescott and Elliott.

Lol,Jay,not Jon but thats ok.
Great win no doubt. It was only a great call because it worked but yeah.Without that play and Norman ko'ing that ball out this is probably a loss.I thought our run defense was our weakness but Rogers carved up our secondary like butter,we've got to play better against Dallas.
Great to see all our receivers contributing,I'm surprised V.D. didnt have a reception, and more surprised Reed kind of had a lowkey night{for him}But it was good to see Kirk spreading the ball around and not relying on Reed.
Overall a great win,a win in Dallas would make my year:woot:

Huge fuckin win. Kill the pack...that 4 and 1 call, big balls

Fat rob the finisher...that play where we kept pulling i think nsekhe? Right up the gut of the defense and rob would wait and explode up the middle...man, keep running that play

Great game. This team is definitely going in the right direction with a big win on prime time. Now its time to ruin Thanksgiving dinner all over the state of Texas.

New team. That's what I wanted to see. We're going to beat those assholes Thursday. Elliott is my new Tony Romo. My hate is strong. That "feed me" shit is so old already. He does it after every play it feels like. Time for throat stomping. And after this last win, Skins still undefeated when I'm watching in Vegas, so I'll take one for the team and watch here on Thursday too. 😁👍

Nsekhe is a starter on most teams...Great depth find by McC. Nobody just handles Clay Matthews like that folks.

On the other hand, Moses is clearly dealing with injuries.

Let's hope Moses can be ready to go in less than four days. We'd better have a Plan B in place for RT.

Profootball focus had Nsekhe as the second highest rate player on offense behind cousins last night...

Re: Packer's Post-Game: How do you like me now?!

Green Bay isn't the team from past years and their defense is decimated by injuries. That said, we did exactly what we were supposed to do against a team hurting like this. Destroy them. We kept the mistakes to a minimum, and we got fucked on some calls too. Run game looked good. Passing looked good. Defensive consistency still needs some work though, but they came through in the end.

The refs threw us a bone as well. One of the roughing the passers calls that went our way was laughable.

This was a team effort win, but there are 2 guys I would like to point out.
Ty Nsekhe, the man is a beast and like others have said he could start for other teams (possible future trade bait?) the other is Maurice Harris, he had one catch but he started the momentum on the Djax TD. Harris has been making great key catches and would to see him more involved. I would hate to trade Nsekhe but he would command big $$$, I would plug remove Lauvao and put Nsekhe in place.

I would trade Trent before he screws up again..not gonna happen but IF we could get top value. I just think that this will happen again at the worst time..think about it we have a stretch where we need everybody and because of his lack of judgement our best OL is sitting at home. I doubt any team would risk a number 1 on him so we have to hope he gets it.

Nsekhe is a RFA next year and will be 32. There is no way you trade him. Especially with TW's situation. One more slip up and he could be gone for a while. You have to resign him and may need to overpay to keep him.

There are defensive concerns:

Jared Cook was killing us
Rogers with his running was unstoppable
Screen passes to Starks uncontested

These are issues that need to be addressed in Dallas, Witten, Prescott can take advantage of this.

screen was a blown coverage...it happens every now and then...and hasn't been the norm.

jared cook kinda surprised us, but Witten will not. We should be ready.

sidenote...I thought Breeland had his best game of the season last night so that's a positive.

He had more screens than the TD and was moving the ball untouched.

This team reminds me of the saints teams a few years ago. Very good offense with a ton of weapons and a defense that gets enough pressure and creates TOs when needed.

We definitely have to keep Nsekhe. For all of his talent, TW seems to be a not very bright guy. One more substance abuse charge against him and he could be gone for awhile. I am not convinced he is able to get that thru his head. We need to have a competent backup ready and able to go at any time with TW's habits.

Kendall Fuller did not have a good game. He shows flashes but lacks consistency- not unusual for a rookie. Ihenacho is a liability in coverage and Whitner probably had his worst game too. The middle of the field is a problem for us. That, and the fact that we were close to several more sacks (is it my imagination or is Kerrigan held on virtually every play?), are my only negatives. Going to bask in this for - well, until thanksgiving.

Slot DB is probably the hardest position to play in modern day NFL. Fuller is learning on the fly vs some of the best in the league past 2 weeks.

He will be fine

Re: Packer's Post-Game: How do you like me now?!

Fuller has been getting abused. It would probably be smart to get him some help. Beasley is a very underrated player. He has to be licking his chops this week.

Overall we just don't have the horses on defense. Kerrigan and Smith went back to being themselves and did a disappearing act. It's apparent that we need more athletes on defense. I hope our 17 draft is all defense.

Really need a big body on the DL...I think that's the biggest need.... Then a young player at Safety. I thought Fuller was ok last night. It wasn't Minny part 2.

Ty is a restricted free agent, meaning we have the right to match any contract offered this offseason. He is going to get a mid level starting LT contract after the season and there is no way we match that for a swing back up tackle. He has also said that he is a natural LT and not as good at RT so there is no way they replace Moses with him.

How much is a 32 year old career back up going to get on the open market? IMO that is a guy you may have to overpay to keep around.
