Da-feat Da Bears
Anyone think we will? Honestly, after the lackluster showing on Monday, I have no idea what team will show up. Given our penchant to play every other week, despite a schedule for weekly games, perhaps we win?
Redskins 28 Bears 21 Mostly, I'm posting this because I have to move on from MNF. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
I think if we had won Monday I would have said a definite loss. I think we win this one.
|
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
They lost to the 49ers at home, so that means they are a team we have the ability to beat, but it also means the Bears are going to be really trying to win this one as to not lose to two losing teams at home in a row.
|
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
The Bears are pretty much out of it, right? So they are playing for pride and nothing else. We have to want this more.
|
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
We win this one. For the same basic "it's the Skins reasons" I thought we would lose to Dallas.
I think Gruden has a good game plan in place, and we get a lead in the 1st quarter. Then his patience/lack of killer instinct keeps the game close, and KC leads a 4th quarter rally to seal the win. I don't really know his time at the Bengals, but I would have thought his arena league time would have instilled in him a score every possession mentality. Maybe he got it kicked out of him when he came back to the NFL? |
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
When I watched the Cowboys defense the other night I thought they were extremely aggressive and were very physical. Sean Lee especially was everywhere. I have to hand it to Dallas for bringing it on defense.
I don't think the Bears are playing as well on defense right now so I like us to score much better. I think we'll be inconsistent but eke out a win. |
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
This is another code red since Gruden coached Monday night to a loss. Conference game, we gotta get this one...Da Bears get deez nuts:
Skins 29 Cubs 20 |
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
It's on the road against a avg team, depends on what we get from our run game, I think we win but it's going to be a close game. I'd say like 27-23 skins, kirk has a solid game again with 2 tds 1 int. The bears d sucks so we should be ok.

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
I hope "Jeremy" Ross returns some kicks for us and lights up the Bears for this outrageous (well, not really) sign of disrespect: Bears in-foe: Examining the Washington Redskins | CSN Chicago
So Jarvis Jenkins is going to bring his 'A' game against us? He has one? Perhaps he means that "A" stands for absent. And Tracy Porter wants to stick it to us? I think Tracy Morgan has about as good a chance keeping up with DJax as he does. I am mostly worried about Forte (a better back than anyone Dallas has) and Alshon Jeffrey than anything else. We will score some points, but can we get to Cutler and keep the few real playmakers they have from doing us damage? |
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
I hope that Jay learned a few things on Mon and that the team can exorcise a few demons accrued on Monday by.....KICKING THE SHIT OUTTA THE bears..
|
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
If the Redskins are to win a road game then they have to accomplish it in Chicago this Sunday.
|
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
If we beat Chicago I believe we will win out. Buffalo is at home and they are very inconsistent. Philly and dallas will be out of the hunt by the time we play them especially dallas.

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Spike Jay Gruden's Gatorade with LSD to improve his play-calling.

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Trent williams has given up zero sacks according to PFF. That's just ridiculously good

Looking at their forums, they sound a lot like us. Mainly inconsistent. I don't know how anyone can predict the outcome between 2 wildly inconsistent teams. |
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
A game they certain can win, but I have no idea what to expect out of them.
One thing I can almost guarantee is that after Monday's game I would expect every team left on the schedule will be sending the uber-blitz at Kirk to test his ability to adjust and handle it. They better have more plays drawn up to counter it. |
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
We win because of this song. The only song known to man about hogs hunting bears.

It would be so disappointing if they went from the division lead to last place. Again! |

You guys were riping Gruden as a play caller?

And he has improved on that definitely, I think last year he didn't win a challenge until very late in the season. I think, much like the KC thread, Gruden does have room to grow, BUT, he has to learn it's ok to be TD centric, instead of FG like I believe he is now. I think he has a belief that any drive ending in points is a good drive, but, especially early in games, getting a TD instead of a FG makes a huge difference. Sadly, I don't know that he will ever change that mentality. |

As i have said many times let SM give Jay and KC some sorely needed help and the plan will come together. Were almost there folks. |

Pierre Thomas signed, Stephen Paea to IR.

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Odd signing to me. Big bruising back - we have two of those. With Thompson dinged, we need change of pace. Not sure who is out there, on the ps or otherwise, but this seems a little odd to me.

Fair point. I am not sure that Morris or Jones are necessarily lacking in that department, although neither gets many opportunities (especially Morris). I hope Thompson can heal quickly. He's always been injury prone and it raises questions of how much the team can rely upon him. Like his speed and the change of pace he brings, but availability could be better. |
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Yeah not sure I'd call Thomas a bruiser, 5-11 215, he's definitely a nice receiver coming out of the backfield. He caught a ton of passes in New Orleans.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chris Thompson was our 3rd down receiving threat out of the backfield. Thomas picks up blitzes well and is a receiving threat first and foremost. What don't you understand?? |
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
OK, lighten up, Francis. I was helpfully reminded by Punch that PT has excellent receiving skills.
|
Re: Da-feat Da Bears
He's not as elusive and quick but he's a good 3rd down back for sure

The Snyder Skins can't hope to win the division on their own merits. Let's hope the rest of the NFCE keeps sucking.

Are you happy with the playcalling?
Yep Glad at least Jay is doing well in those categories but he has a lot of room for improvement in other areas. I am so disappointed in Monday's loss then I wouldn't mind seeing Jay gone after the season. He try's to have his Joe Gibb's Darrell Green moment and it blows up in his face and then he says he doesn't regret it? Jackson runs 30 yards in the opposite direction then fumbles the ball away and blows the game and you don't regret it? Are you fucking stupid? Well apparently you are. Plus what else did you expect Jackson to do when you put him back there? You are obviously sending the message that you want a big play out of him by sticking him back there and I'm sure Jackson felt that pressure. It was just a terrible terrible coaching decision that I will never forgive him for. Fucking dumbass most likely blew the season on that call, not to mention losing to the fucking Cowboys who didn't even have a Romo. The more I talk about it more I'm just getting disgusted and pissed off all over again. Fuck Gruden |
