Can I change my username?
 

Please? I joined this board when I was young, foolish, and inexperienced and have really enjoyed it, but now I'm a little older, a little less foolish, a little more experienced, and think my handle is stupid. So with that being said, I would like to change it to Brick. Why? Partly because I really love the Anchorman movies and partly because I feel like "Brick" represents me better(read as: brings less shame) than the ultra-cheesy addendum of "Sir" randomly attached to my initals and the number of my favorite player.

I promise this is something I've thought a lot about and really want. :D

What sayeth the mods?

Since we are at it, I wanted my name to be "Defensewinschampionships", but too many letters. Can that be changed?

I like the idea of changing usernames to Steve Carell characters as we get older and wiser. Although if Brick suits anybody it is probably Giantone

It's a different character, but my screen name for the Washington Post website is Champ Kind. I don't tend to comment too much.

Well, as stated, my only reason is that my username is too cheesy and now brings me shame. If that doesn't fit your requirements of being a really good reason, then I may have to hire JoeRedskin to find a hole in there somewhere. :D

But seriously, if you don't feel to allow me to release this burden of shame, that's fine. It's not my board.

You could always create a brand new account and ditch your current one. Unless you're afraid of losing your post count, which I'm sure you are.

Really though, we're just a bunch of guys talking about our dreadful 3-whateverwearethisyear team. At this point nobody cares what your name is, just offer some strong conversation and you're good.

That's a good idea, but multiple accounts are usually frowned upon. Although maybe if I totally quit logging onto this one the mods wouldn't mind?
