MLB 2013 Season
Bryce Harper is going off. Has homered in his first 2 at bats of the season. amazing.
|
Re: MLB 2013 Season
Nice. Big fan of that kid despite not being on my team, the White Sox.
I'm shocked the Astros beat the Rangers last night. I was expecting about 20 wins from them this season...serious. I still say the Brewers should have been moved back to the AL instead of Houston. They're going to be eaten alive in that division with the Rangers, Angels and Athletics. Houston makes more sense geographically but I never liked the Milwaukee move in the first place. |
Re: MLB 2013 Season
GO RED SOX!
Also go O's and Nats. |
Nats all the way
|
GO RED SOX!
Also go O's and Nats.
AL East should be fun this year. Orioles and Blue Jays will probably battle for the division...with Tampa Bay and the Yankees behind them. Boston...they can't fix that mess in one year. Can anyone beat the Angels though? Trout/Pujols/Hamilton...seriously? You can't pitch around that. I'd love to see the Pirates compete again this season...that was fun to see last year. |
Re: MLB 2013 Season
Nats all day! Couldn't have asked for a better start to today's game. I was trying to go to the game today but it didn't work out, so I'm going on Wednesday with a friend.

Re: MLB 2013 Season
I love the Red Sox as I grew up in RI but in baseball I can cheer for local teams (BAL WAS) as long as they are not directly playing the Sox. Plus if BAL and WAS are doing well gives me good baseball to watch every night.

Re: MLB 2013 Season
Bold prediction: Ex-Nat Mike Morse leads the AL in Home Runs this season.
|
Bold prediction.
Trout isn't as great this season as he was last year. |
Re: MLB 2013 Season
That Yu darvish perfect game was a bummer last night. 1 out away from having the first perfect game of the season and then the batter hits it between Yu's legs. To come that far and lose on the last pitch..damn that sucks for him. Thats the worst way to lose a no hitter/perfect game.

Re: MLB 2013 Season
Well, there goes the Dodgers unbeaten record.

Re: MLB 2013 Season
Chris Davis is killing it.
|
Re: MLB 2013 Season
Sheesh, my Astros are being destroyed. 74 strikeouts in first 6 games! Future dynasty, though.
|
Re: MLB 2013 Season
Mets are off to a nice start. Matt Harvey is the real deal.

Harvey gets some sick movement on his pitches, he's ballin. I love seeing the Phillies off to a crap start. Yankees and Phillies are the equivalent of the Cowboys and Eagles imo. hatte those teams, especially them Yankee bastards. |

I predict a 27-135 season for Houston. They're in a very tough division too. Horrible move to the A.L. for them. |

I don't think they'll be that bad. I'm looking for a 35-40 win season. After the opener against Texas, my hopes actually rose a little, but with so many young guys what can you expect? Bold Prediction: Altuve wins Al MVP. |
Re: MLB 2013 Season
So who will be WORSE this season: Lincecum or Halladay?
They're both disasters. |

Re: MLB 2013 Season
Yeah, because the pitcher is always innocent in these brawls.

Yep. Craig Kimbrel is the best closer in baseball. I literally watched the Cardinals Nats game over again. Pitching was great; game was out of reach for the other team, then Clippard comes in, gives up a run and men on base. Davey calls up Storen, who already is in a bad situation and he puts the nats in a worse situation. They need another lefty ace pitcher. |
Re: MLB 2013 Season
Gio is gonna need more steroids if he gonna pitch like this. Wow get your brooms out.

...for the Braves. |
Atlanta is loaded and they are without McCann ATM. I still think Washington is going to be right there in the end.
