Babin sucks. I cant believe people want him here. Eagles fans are thrilled he is gone. He is really a bad football player who is the definition of one-trick pony who cant even do the one trick. He is horrible, stay away from this guy.

Good read on him, and they actually suggest the skins. He is what we need right now, but not long term. Plus some motivation for contract again, and he gets to face the eagles again also.

Bottom line is he can rush the passer better than anyone we currenly have. He's probably not a good fit as a full time player, but as a 3rd down pass rusher? I'd take him if the price is right.

He wasn't even the pass rusher that Philly lacked in a scheme that did fit, so why do you think he's going to be the pass rusher we need in a scheme that doesn't fit?

He had ONE very good year. Rest of his career has be mediocre to below average.

He is third in the nfl in sacks the past 3 years behind ware and Jared allen. That speaks for itself. Nfl players rate him in the top 100. That also speaks highly.

2 forced fumbles this season, would also be 2nd on our team.

perry riley is 2nd on our team this season w 2 sacks.
bunch of guys tied for 2nd on our team w 1 forced fumble.

all i'm saying is 5.5 sacks > 2 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles is > 1 forced fumble.

Yes but who says they can't cut him following the season? They didn't pay him any guaranteed money so a future cap-hit doesn't exist unless you keep through roster/work out bonuses.

I think you can still cut him, there is no more guaranteed money on his contract. So he'd be playing the rest of this year for his contract next year. Who cares beyond this season....

Hm, is he that much of a detriment to the team? We really need pass rushers. That being said, Philly thinks their backups were better so he probably isn't worth it.
