This year is impossible to pick...so many upsets in these first 3 weeks...the bad teams are beating the best teams and the refs make every game a crapshoot.

I'm my other pool (it's been going a decade), I'm 6-9 this week and sitting in 2nd-place overall, just one game out of first. It's tough for everyone it seems.

i like the way my office in dc did it, everyone paid $2/week. $1 for the weekly winner, the other $1 to the season winner pool. 20-25 participants = $20-$25 to the winner each week and $340-$425 to the season winner.

last season, i won 0 weeks, but finished 2nd on the season = $0

I shot up to 2nd place this week. Went out on a limb and picked the Vikes and Cards. Otherwise it seemed like tough week.

I picked the Cards also. I picked TB over Dallas and the Gurls didn't cover despite winning. Didn't move...still in 5th.

I always pick against our division rivals unless it's going to be a clear victory. Sure it might hurt me in the long run but it feels good at the time.

i made all my week 1 picks w/o realizing that the spread was a factor. i saw it, but i thought it was more of a guide, it wasn't until i was checking my picks that i made the realization.

the spread has been my friend since then, hopefully it lasts a couple more months.
