ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins'
Thomas won't feel secure until he's playing against the "Deadskins" - Giants Blog - ESPN New York
“Until I make that [final roster] and they put me back there in the first game against them Deadskins, then I will say it’s my job,” Thomas said of the team that drafted him in the second round in 2008 before releasing him last season.
Doesn't this guy have a rap video to make? :laughing2 If you can't make the Panthers squad with their mcshitty WRs, then chances are that you suck big time. |
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
If there are only 31 companies in the country that employee your skill set kind of dumb to burn bridges with any of them.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Landry will be there to welcome him back, good luck with getting up after that hug.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Devin Thomas doesn't know his crotch from a cranberry.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
What an idiot.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Didn't his momma warn him, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anthing at all.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
What sucks about this is it sounds like the guy is starting to learn how to be a professional. He was a decent kick returner for us and I'm not surprised that he's doing well w/that but if he's playing well at wr, that really sucks. I really wanted him to be a starter for us, now his getting cut may have matured him to be a decent player for a division rival.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
I should've mentioned, sounds like he's learning to be a professional on the field, never smart to say anything bad about your former team, but in all fairness he may have been saying it w/a smile. Not like he said anything about any in particular.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Talk is cheat. If he can back it up on the football field, more power to him. Until then, keep yer tap shut.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Wow, I hope Dirty 30 or Rak just lay him out when they play in Oct.
|

Seriously. What a total shitbag. He's already a bust and is a stone's throw from being out of the NFL all together, and he has the nerve to bash any NFL team? Try making a roster and actually contributing before you run your yap. |
Landry will be there to welcome him back, good luck with getting up after that hug.
I don't think they'll ever be on the field at the same time. |
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
He's in serious need of another tattoo on his face after he gets pounded.

He has not learned a thing. His back is up against the wall. His career is in jeopardy and he is just now understanding the sense of urgency. How many years later? He is a classic under achiever. Like those players that suddenly raise their level of play in a contract year. I am glad he is gone. No regrets here. My regret is that we ever spent a valuable second round pick on a rookie that showed up out of shape, with a web sight and ego that was bigger than his ability. |
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
I hope he makes the team and he's their return guy. If Graham can pull back a little on his kickoff I'm sure Lorenzo has something to welcome him back with.

Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Talk is cheap and Thomas has a lot to say. Let him say what he has to say... ultimately we all know he got beat by Austin and Armstrong and the Redskins are better for it. He is right about one thing, he might not make it through the looming roster cut.

Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Special teams is the only reason Devin Thomas has not dropped of the face of the NFL planet. Hank is already displaying more skillz in preseason than he ever did for us.

Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Im thrilled this guy is on the Giants, says a lot about their talent and the direction of the franchise. Im not very high on the Giants this year for the first time in a long time. They got a ton to prove.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
That's a Cerrato pick for ya....

I have not been either. With all their injuries and holes not filled (LB) I can see us winning both games for once. I also don't think Dallas is going to be as good as the media thinks either, but I think we split those games. I'll even go so far as to say I think we win in Dallas and at the end of the year they have must win games and beat us at home. The Eagles are my only big question mark. A lot of media people have already placed them in the SB, but I'm just not feeling that. I foresee a NFC East race being between the Eagles and Skins. For me the suprise team will be the Skins. Media is predicting 6-10 or worse and I'm thinking 8-8 or better. Although its only preseason I've been impressed with how well the team has played as a whole and can see the team possibly going 9-7 or 10-6 if the team catches some good breaks. |
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Boy he must hate us big time. I guess it's our fault that his lazy work ethic prevented him from ever doing much on the field.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Sounds like the usual routine.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
So glad this guy is off our team, a shame too because he clearly had the physical tools to be a decent WR
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
haha devin devin devin. im actually hoping you have some chance of making the roster and a some chance in hell you actually get in the game to run a deep post against us. #30 will be waiting to greet you. (dumbass, shut up and make a roster)

Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Wow. Devin Thomas seems motivated.
I heard this morning that he tried to go to the Giants facility and get some extra practice in, but unfortunately he drove the wrong route and ended up being intercepted by the New York Jets. |

You sure about that? Hank catches the ball like Carlos Rogers. |

He wouldn't be showing off his lack of hands if he wasn't getting open in the first place. Thomas had trouble even doing that. ;) |
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Devin Thomas hasn't done enough to earn my response...

Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
Again with the debaggery Devin??? Come on man.....jeeesh what a pud.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
All the time he spends on the sidelines you would think he could come up with something better than that.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
holy "F" ... did he really say that ... bring it on biiiaatch ... I'm sure Landry, Orakpo, FLETCHER would love to smack that punk ass .. love to see a punt return and let Lorenzo Alexander literally blow his head off ... sadly I bet he gets cut
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
He got cut by the "Dead Skins" right? Jack-off. It would take a hell of a lot to make us look like we made the wrong decision by letting him go. I don't expect it.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
DO SOMETHING DEVIN!!! You are and have been a complete waste of space in the NFL so far. DO SOMETHING!!! When you have done something, anything, worthy of praise within the NFL then, and only then, should you be allowed to even talk to the media. Otherwise STFU. That is all.
|
Re: ESPN: Devin Thomas not secure until he's playing the 'Deadskins"
WTF is he mad at us for, we're the ones that spent what, a 2nd round pick on this sorry sack of s---??? Hope he has a career ending injury, f--- him.....
