I just wanted to remind everyone to vote for the probowl selections I think Smoot, Springs, cooley, Taylor, Portis and Griffin need to go so lets do our part to get them there.

cpayne5 11-18-2004 11:51 AM

I'm not so sure about Cooley. I like him and all, but he's only had 11 receptions (but 3 were TDs). I say let the rookie continue to grow before he goes to the Pro Bowl.

Drift Reality 11-18-2004 11:59 AM

Cooley? Are you joking?

Taylor also is not going this year.

Tupa, Griffin, Springs, and possibly Portis.

Smoot could be an alternate.

That's about it.

FRPLG 11-18-2004 12:42 PM

What about Brunell?

FRPLG 11-18-2004 12:44 PM

Tupa-yes
Smoot-yes
Springs-maybe
Griffin-abso-F&*%$ing-lutly yes
Portis-Yes
Cooley-you're kidding right
Thomas-yes
Washington-no
Taylor-you're kidding right
What about Brunell?
He's just slightly behind Bobby Boucher

Redskins_P 11-18-2004 12:56 PM

Washington, Smoot, Springs, Griffin.

Portis, and maybe Samuels or Thomas

WRedskins04 11-18-2004 01:03 PM

I think Cooley should go I mean they havent really handed off to him this season but hes a good reciver

Cooley will probably never get any handoffs....and he hasn't done much this year to be considered "Hawaii Bound"

aehs77 11-18-2004 01:08 PM

tupa should definately get to make the trip.

CRT3 11-18-2004 02:16 PM

Defintes: Tupa ~ Smoot ~ Griffin

Good Chance: Springs ~Washington

Possible: Portis

Never Know: Ade

or do what i did and vote in a completely biased fashion (you know, to counteract the roids fans biasing their vote ;))

skinsguy 11-18-2004 04:50 PM

Definitely Griffin! Smoot, not sure about Springs but he's played well, Portis, Taylor is a possiblity, Antonio Pierce because I think he's played very solid.

halter91 11-19-2004 05:47 AM

Griffin..yes
Smoot...yes
Springs...yes
Tupa...lock
Portis..will be tough but yes.
Taylor...next year
Cooley...next year.

SkinsRock 11-19-2004 02:46 PM

What do you think?

Will Lavar get in out of popularity, even though he's been injured most of the season? I think it's a distinct possibility, especially if he really comes on when he comes back from the injury.

I highly doubt it. If he did that would be rediculous.

SKINSnCANES 11-20-2004 10:49 PM

unless Taylor has picks in all of the next few games, and scores a couple time, I dont see him doing any better than defensive rookie or the year, but hey, nothing wrong with that.

Portis will probably go, Tiki might get the start but Portis is a good pick for second.

Griffin should go. Smoot should go. Cooley could go if and only if he is listed as a full back, and thats a big big big stretch. i dont know anyone thats not a skins fan that has even heard of him.

dragontat7169 11-21-2004 09:46 AM

here are my picks:

Definites

Griffin-Without a doubt
Smoot-umm..of course
Springs-yep...yep
Tupa-who else is punting as well or more often..LOL

Now for one that no one on this post picked but should go:

James Thrash-without a doubt he should go as a special teams player. He has been the Heart and Soul of the Special Teams this year.

Maybe

Portis-He is definitely a Pro Bowl running back but I don't see his stats as good enough this year. Don't get me wrong..it wasn't his fault.
Washington and Pierce-Both have stepped up their game to play awesome as starters from backup rolls. I see them as deserving a spot..but they might not get it.

Very Doubtful

Taylor-I believe he will be a pro bowl safety in the future. His play and off field situations haven't shown him to be a pro bowler this year. Pro Bowlers are players to be looked up too on and off the field.

I don't see a bunch of Skins going this year due to results from injuries.

monk81 11-21-2004 04:05 PM

Springs and Griffin......DEFINITELY.............
