What do you think? Is $9.99 a month too steep? |
Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service
It does not sound expensive but that coming from a guy who had to look up Hulu to see what it was first.

Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service

Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service
$9.99 for their service is reasonable....they need more selection in what you can watch.
|
Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service

If it's anything like how Netflix works on PS3 it's going to be a POS. Got to hand it to MS, they really do have a nice setup and app integration. |
Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service
I got my invite last night I will set up this evening on my xbox. I am excited to see how it works.

Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service
Got an invite yesterday too, I'm waiting to hear how others like it first, so let me know! :)

Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service
If they could pick up CBS and integrate with Roku then I'd be pretty sure to drop cable.
|
Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service
I am hoping the PS3 interface works with the invite.

CBS talks are reportedly heating up, could happen soon. How do you like Roku? Had been thinking of getting one |
Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service
I got a Roku a few weeks ago, works great. Amazon has an on-demand service that I didn't know about previously, they have a huge selection.
You probably get a better bang for your buck if you buy a blu-ray player that has streaming services built in. But since I already have a blu-ray I went with the Roku. |

I LIKE it. I would LOVE it if they could integrate with Hulu. Now that there is a pay service perhaps Hulu would be more amenable. I understood before why Hulu wasn't in on it but now it seems like a great match. But the Roku works great and has decent content through Netflix. If Netflix could figure out a pay for service to get new movies integrated that would be sweet. |
Re: Hulu Goes Mobile with For-Pay Service
Oh and the interface for the Roku is super simple. Very good job by their techs and programmers to make it easy to use. The new firmware upgrade improved it greatly. GREATLY.

They work great. Easy to set up and integrate with your Netflix account. Basically all you have to know how to do is log into your Netflix on your computer and the Roku box does the rest. |
