SMOKE finally breaks through and gets his first win with Stewart-Haas Racing at Lowes Motor Speedway in Concord,North Carolina.

I knew my fat boy could do it. Gibbs still has a strong strong stable. Look for Smoke to win more in the future. I think that he'll do good on the road courses again and as long as he can keep putting away second place finishes he's good for the Cup.

The Chevy's are having a solid season. Holding 5 or 6 of the top ten cars in the points standings.

JGR has two of his yotas in top 10 point positions with Denny and Kyle. I'm a HUGE JG fan but hate yotas (Which he would have stayed with Chevy!). I'll stick with my Chevy's any day!

But SMOKE is right on golden boys rear end in the points chase, this is a Chevy kinda of year.....at least at the track and Chevy will win the points race when it's all said and done! The other side of Chevy/GM, you know the off the track economy crap just sucks!

I hate Tony Stewart. I really wish the 17 would have gone to the bottom of turn 2 to slam the door shut. Then that fatass would still have 0 wins.

haha...I definitely was not happy with the spin out. I think Stewart threw a banana peel on the track so that Gordon wouldn't win! LOL.

Stewart had a package worked out with Chevy when Joe Gibbs switched to Yota. He never liked them even though he kept his mouth shut. Not only that but they also went over to the car of today. I think that by the time that last season started his heart wasn't in it because he already knew he was going leave.

Now Smoke has his Chevy package along with Hendrick's motors and chasis.

I'm not surprised to see him doing better in a chevy, but I am surprised he is doing so well without his old crew chief and a whole new crew. Guess he knows how to run a team eh?

LOL...I am...yes. I am most certainly impressed with the fact that he's 1st in points, and Ryan Newman is 4th (or 5th...can't recall), and this is his first year as an owner. Guess Gibbs was holding him down!

I was thinking the same thing. I think stewart did know what he was doing, but Busch was an idiot coming back up the track. Can't blame stewart for that. This is what happens when you have the two wildest drivers racing each other, if you threw in Juan Pablo the place would STILL be a wreck! LOL. What made me laugh was that Busch crossed the finish line on the hood of Casey Kahne. That was a great hit.

For once, not Stewart's fault! ;)

We = the Fatboy click! There are three people in front of him. One who has won three championships and two others who've never won. If I had to bet between the four, it will be either the three time champ or the two time champ.

Well, I am certainly not a Stewart fan, never have been. In fact, he is the Yankees to my red sox except without the decorated past.

He's 2 a two timer. Jeff and Jimmie have won more. The Yanks have won 26...next closest has won what...10? (don't care about open wheeled, you will need to compare him to others in open wheel, not NASCAR)
Fact is, based on Championships, Stewart is NOT close to best like the Yanks are compared to everyone else. Winning 2 times is good, but does not deserve elite status.
Does that make sense?

I even respect the fact that he puts it all out there. The boy can drive, that's for sure. I'd be more like him if I was a driver. Put yourself in stupid situations for the sake of winning. Although he's not a wreckless as he once was.
