Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...

I guess HBO isn't interested in ratings :) |
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
Welcome to the Chad Ochocinco show. This season is going to be worse than the season with the KC Chiefs.

Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
What a joke.

Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
Wow, who's making the decisions at HBO?

If so maybe they can get some solid ratings? I got to admit it kinda interests me how the Bengals will act on camera. |
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
I feel bad for Carson Palmer.
|
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
I'll still watch it, although I think the story lines of our Redskins would be far more entertaining. I try to think of teams with the most activity. The Jets would be interesting to watch with getting Sanchex and Rex Ryan building that team.
|
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
Maybe they were the only team who was willing.
|
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
Redskins first, everyone else second. I'm always entertained by anything football.

If this was done a couple years ago, it would have looked like an episode of the The Wire. |
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
Maybe they are hoping ro a "Make it Rain" type moment.

Cowboys, Bengals, next season will be the Reid Household

Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
I heard Carson Palmer the other day say it's been the best training camp he's been a part of since he was drafted. Says there's been no distractions and they've been working hard ... snoooze. I want fights, arrests, ochocinco dancing, and offensive tackles with man jugs running with no shirts.
|
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
I don't care what team does it. My ass will be glued to the TV. This is great stuff and you really get to see the insides of an NFL training camp. And it sure beats any the reality garbage that's on TV nowadays.

Anything is a step up from the Cowboys

I guess HBO isn't interested in ratings :)
I'll watch, i'm a sucker for football. Plus, i'm a huge Corey Lynch fan. http://www.bengals.com/team/roster/Corey-Lynch/daeab84c-178d-43d1-bf30-cedca2caeb2e He played special teams and earned some playing time intercepting Brett Farve week 6 in week 8 he suffered a season ending knee injury. He currently holds the NCAA FCS record for passes defended at 52 (28 pass deflections, 24 interceptions) that's not a typo 24 interceptions (wanna see what 24 college ints looks like?) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQZqkcubYjQ]YouTube - Corey Lynch #47 - Junior - 2006 Season[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMtV5oaKznI&feature=related]YouTube - Corey Lynch 2007 Senior Season[/ame] So i'll watch just to see how he does but there are other interesting stories... Carson Palmer's return from injury. Finding a receiver to replace Housh. Re-vamping an up and coming defense with young talent esp. Rey Mauluaga who i think is a BEAST maybe i just found a second team to follow |

Agreed, while i watch anything football, the exceptions will always be Cowboys and Berman. |
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
Considering That The Bengals Are Looking Like The New Cowboys...Well...Uh...Nevermind...They Still Look Like The Bengals....But Considering Who's There Now....Should Make For Plenty Cop Drama On The Show

Now there's an idea for a thread. "Things you would rather do other then watch another show about the Cowboys" I'd rather run naked through an isopropal alcohol & razor blade storm then watch a show about the Cowboys. I'd rather swim in chummed shark infested waters with bloody hams & pork chops tied around my neck then watch a show about the Cowboys. I'd rather watch a show about the Cincinnati Bengals then watch a show about the Cowboys. We're kinda short on entertainment lately I guess. |
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
As long as the Redskins dont appear on the Show Hard Knocks i don't care whos on it. We don't need any distractions in our camp. look what it did for the Cowboys last season.

Part of it is me being a football geek and loving anything behind the scenes but a I also found it funny how arrogant the Cowboys were and seeing the obvious cracks in their armor just by watching the show. |
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
A lot of teams turn that show down. It's not like HBO decided that the Bengals were the team they had to have. All the top teams most likely said no and the Bengals provided the most opportunity for drama of the willing teams. I heard Vinny say last year that the Redskins would never do that show.
I like watching this show but I can't think of a worse idea when you are trying to get ready for a season then to have HBO's cameras hunting around looking for juicy stories. I don't think any team had a good season after doing that show. |
Re: Next up on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'...
It's a big distraction if you ask me. If the Skins did it of course I would love it, but a part of me would be like uh-oh, this can't be good.

I'm a Homer. I hate anything that involves the Dallas Cowboys. Anything. I hate their team, their retarded fans, their toilet bowl of a stadium (at least now it has a lid to close), their owner, every player, every former player, every former coach, every square inch of their stinking, ugly city. I hate them, I hate them, I hate them. I even have a "Cowboys Suck" tattoo to express just how much I hate them. That being said, I hate the Cowboys. You want to torture me? Don't cut my fingers off or break my kneecaps...no no. Force me to watch that shit & I'll talk. I'll tell you whatever you want to know. I'll tell you that I will marry your dog, but PLEASE don't make me watch that shit. Did I mention that I hate the Cowboys? :silly: |

He's a great guy and a great player. I think he'll be a solid pro. He'll actually be in another reality show we're trying to get off the ground but just in a minor role. It's more about his wife, who is the grand daughter of Billy Graham the famous preacher. Here's a trailer for the show, and the pilot will soon be available online. (Corey's in the pilot a great deal.) Samaritan's Purse |
