ravens should be all over this if this is true. please go to bal for that price, it would really suck if he winds up in our division.

I'm pretty sure Cardinals wouldn't accept an offer like this..

Nice...our trash for a pro bowler! That would be like getting a sure fire hall of fame TE for a 2nd rounder in 2010...wait, anything is possible!

LOL...very true. I guess it doesn't hurt to present it, at worst it gets turned down.

Man Snyder would have killed for this to be the year we had 10 draft picks. We would have sent our 1st, 3rd and next year's 1st & 2nd for Cutler and then sent our 2nd and 4th to AZ for Boldin and he'd be trotting them out at the draft party!

I didn't see that as a true steal like the caliber of Gonzalez or Moss.

That was a steal for Miami... they got those two picks and we got three sacks and done...

Ah yes, very good point, sometimes I fail to look at it from the other teams perspective when the Skins are involved.

How is that not a steal? The dolphins are loving this trade.

I beat you to it by 1 minute. lol.

Well, after more thought on this, we got a guy that had 36.5 sacks in the 3 years previous, and 11 the year before we got him, plus a stand up citizen and a future hall of famer. It was only a bad deal for us due to hindsight. What if he didn't get injured and he had 10-14 sacks for us, we'd call that a steal in our favor.

It might end up that Cassel and Vrabel play above the 2nd they were traded for.

Espn just reported that the Titans have offered a second and a player for Boldin. The Titans are talking to Rosenhaus as we speak.

Wow. I thought Baltimore would go after him hard. He could really help them out. Of course Ozzie's really careful about trades.

I guess I gotta admit that I was wrong about this.. I'm pretty surprised to see Cardinals being willing to accept 2nd rd plus another player - although they could be looking for someone good.. Not just for depth..

Re: AZ will now take a second + for boldin

Supposedly they are looking at either Lendale White or Chris Henry to go with the second pick from the titans.

I think it's two 2 round picks and Chris Henry or Chris Brown (I always get them confused)

People, get over the Taylor trade, I've read some ESPN folks saying they understood the situation. How 'bout you stop hating "your" team for a second, and look at the examples we gave

- Giving up a 4th rounder for Greg Lewis
- Giving up Randy Moss for a 4th rounder

If our team did what NE and the Raiders did in these situations, ppl would be typing in bold and cursing for a week in this forum.

Everyone at the time didn't see it at as bad trade. It just turned out to be.

True, but the examples of Moss and Greg Lewis are bad trades from the get go. I mean unless Greg Lewis becomes a beast or whoever the Raiders picked with that 4th rounder becomes a star, those trades will continue to be bad trades.

In a potential precursor to trade discussions regarding Pro Bowl wide receiver Anquan Boldin, the Arizona Cardinals are “gathering information” on Tennessee Titans running backs LenDale White and Chris Henry, according to Adam Caplan of Scout.com.

I hope this gets done, because I don't want to see Boldin in the NFC East.

At this point lets give them betts and next years 2nd....Wouldnt that be sweet!

Superman13732 04-26-2009 12:39 AM

Re: AZ will now take a second + for boldin

Haha, in fantasy world, wouldn't it be cool if we could give them next year's 2nd and Randel El? And somehow sign him to a deal that wouldn't put us 15 mill over the cap? And that whole Randy Moss thing, Dan Snyder goes crazy every offseason. How in the name of HELL do you miss that? Especially with Danny boys love for trading draft picks?

Lotus 04-26-2009 12:43 AM

Re: AZ will now take a second + for boldin

Given that the Cards just drafted Beanie Wells, I think the Randle El idea is more likely than the Betts idea.

Superman13732 04-26-2009 12:47 AM

Re: AZ will now take a second + for boldin

The problem is that Boldin has openly said he is going declare $10 mil +. Even though he is an impact player, he does have injury problems which hold him out of games.
