Police raid in my apartment right now:
Pretty cool, listening to the FFX County scanner atm. I have NO clue what it's for -- and hopefully it isn't for me... ;)
I walked out on my patio and had two assault rifles pointed at me. Pretty interesting! |
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
You don't produce or sell drugs do you? Any potential for a meth-lab in the complex? Is it a right wing terrorists extremists haven?
|
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
No. It's a nice and calm neighborhood. And no I don't sell, produce, or do any drugs. The worst I have is a few MP3s. I have a feeling they'd just knock on my door and ask =p.
I guess any complex has potential for a meth-lab though =p |
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
Do you mean in your apartment building or in your actual apartment?
|
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
Apartment building.
|
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
The police came to my door, asked me to either 'leave now or stay in your apartment'
|

lmao!! |
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
What they just seized his computer.
I don't think that happened. Now, if he started a thread last night called "Chris Hansen is in my apartment right now" I could see the cops seizing his computer today.

LOL! Why don't you go ahead and have a seat there for me. Who are the wine coolers for? |
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:

Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
Hey Guys,
Quick update, that was pretty cool! Unfortunately, I still have absolutely no idea what exactly happened. Fairfax County has a streaming police scanner, I fired that up but it’s kinda hard to decipher. There are like 14 people talking about 14 different things at once. But I was able to make some things out. First of all, the guy was on the 4th floor, and they had it staged out on the 3rd (I could hear loudly) and my floor. Looking out my peephole I could see a laptop computer, a bunch of swat guys, and at one point they put together these contraptions that looked like lights from a photo studio. There were also Police dogs all over the place. The breached his apartment by slipping a flexible camera under his door and using it to unlock his door. I think the guy was in bed at the time, because all I could make out was “Now pull the comforter off him and check for weapons!” afterwards. The association put out a flyer saying it was resolved peacefully – the man left in an ambulance and somehow I missed that part as nosey as I was. After that, I saw all sorts of cool toys being loaded into the SWAT car and some plain looking tan SUV’s. At one point, I looked out my peephole and saw a robot going down stairs. The whole process lasted from about 9:30AM till 3PM. If anyone hears about something to do with police in Centreville, let me know – I can’t find a thing online. Stupid media! |

what would be the other choice? |
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
Well, basically you couldn't come out of your apartment until they were done.

By chance have you ever seen the guy and if so does he look like he is from the middle east? |
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
Nope -- All I know about the guy is he was a firefighter at the Pentagon during 9/11. I was only able to pick out longer strings of what they said over the scanner. Can we get the police some radios without ridiculous feedback? =p
And yes, I don't expect them to alert the media. But Im sure they pay people to listen to scanners. They said the address multiple times. Around 11-12, so they had 2.5 hours to get there. I'm just curious what and why happened. A press release is fine =p |

So the police never really had to alert the media. We were following everything right along with them. |
Re: Police raid in my apartment right now:
Yeah SS -- I assumed. That's why Im surprised I can't seem to find anything about it!
