When I truned on the start of the game I thought it was kind of kool that my cousin was announcing the game. He has been with Fox Sports for several years and is working his way up in the announcers booth. He use to announce for the Cub's and when Baseball had its strike and Fox was getting big into sports he grabed the jod. GO Skins

nice firstdown that would be sweet to have a fam member in the business. so i gotta ask, what has he hooked you up with so far? i guess him getting you autographs and what not would be alil unprofessional and hence why a guy like me is yelling at the tv instead of on it, lol.

You know who was awful? The woman on the sideline. She was talking about the QB's emotions, and how the lions were being injured both phyiscally and to their psyche's. I mean give me a break.

I thought she was pretty. Mainly there for eye candy. I bet guys just tuned her out and zoned in on her for 30 seconds.

He works for Fox and I had no idea he would be announcing this game. I have had a few beer's but will respond more tomorrow but thanks for asking.

The only thing he has really hooked me up with was tickets to a Cub's game back in 1994 when I was in Chcago for work. He started off announcing for the Cub's with Harry Carry (spelling?) and his father is the radio announcer for the Reds. When they lived in our area we were pretty close but they moved to Cin when his dad got the job announcing for them. We did keep in touch when he still had family here but they have either sense moved or passed away.

Billick pronounced Santana's name 4 or 5 different ways during the broadcast. However, he's better at color than most...which is a sad state of affairs.

I'm just glad they are hiding Brian Baldinger with Matt Vasgersian...Vasgersian does mostly west coast games.

I'd rather have Baldinger than Billick. Baldinger is a dumb version of Madden(OMG) but at least he doesn't speak like he is the smartest guy alive. I like Brenaman.

I know I heard it alot. First it was Santonio, then it was Santano, And when he finally got his fist name right he effed up by calling him Mass.

I don't mind Baldy too much. He's a dumb jock but he knows the game and he's got a passion for it. Maybe Billick is just learning the ropes, I dunno. But I got so tired of hearing him stumble over names and use the same 2-3 phrases all game long.

not to offend anyone, but Billick and Brennaman are both god awful. and Baldinger is what he is. an ex player trying to relate. i think he is the best of those 3

Hey, you have 262 friends here on the Warpath, can you get us tickets. I have season tickets but wouldn't mind setting in the booth for one game.
