Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
Gee, I really don't know. All offseason long, I really felt the Giants would probably beat us, but then Osi got hurt, and I really no longer think they have a huge advantage.
I'm going 26-20 Giants right now, but if Taylor can get healthy quick this week, I'll probably take the Redskins. |
Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
24-17 either way and gtripp i felt the same way

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
30-28 Skins. If our passing game looks as good as it was against the Colts then I see us scoring 3 touch downs and possibly 3 field goals.

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
12th had it right the first time, 24-13.

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
after 1st half: skins 3, gints 21
during halftime campbell and collins get into a vicious thumb wrestling match which causes them both to be out for the game with mild sprains. colt comes in to start the 2nd. final result: skins 52, gints 16 |

Im looking at maybe 24-23 skins score on last drive of game and on the extra point suisham hits the upright and they have to review it and it reveals that the extra point was good. |

I see us playing pretty good ball, but our intradivisional record sucks since we gave Norv the shaft. That being said we play well, but come up short, unless the last two preseason games were some sort of bad joke the team played on us fans. |

Not a downer to lose to the defending SB champs in a decent game. Can't be all totally homers here or the site would be boring. To me it depends on which team shows up, the one that went 3-0, or the one that got outscored 71-6 in the last two games.IT will be like a 10-14 point differential either way, but if I was forced to put money down I would have to put it on the Gmen. Even if we have the better team on paper we still manage to lose to them. |
Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
Giants 24
Skins 10 It's unfortunate that we have the first game in the Meadowlands coming off the Giants SB victory. I expect early struggles for our new WCO. Almost every QB struggles in his first year in the WCO, and I don't expect different from Campbell. And don't tell me that the success he had in one year of the WCO at Auburn is a guarantee that he'll hit the ground running - the windows that NFL QBs have to fit balls are much smaller than those that college QBs have. |

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions

Redskins 3 I have a bad feeling about our offense. Defense will, as usual, play solid but will get worn down because Jason Campbell's hesitation and inaccuracy will lead to too many 3 and outs. |

...if Collins plays we'll lose by 4 TDs, and if Colt plays we probably lose by 5 TDs. :smashfrea |
Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
So it appears that Taylor may not play...Randle El has a fracture bone in his hand...this is not looking good.

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
Giants 28 Skins 3
our offense scares mes we havent look good the last 2 preseason games. we only have 3 WR's that have any experience Moss, Randle El who has a hurt arm, and Thrash, that is scary. Thomas will not help us and Kelly is out for at least two weeks. So we only dress 4 WRS i dont understand why didnt keep McMullen. |
Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
I think it'll be a shockingly low scoring game with both offenses (especially our's) having early season jitters.
Redskins 13, Giants 10. |
Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
Giants 2045, Skins 6. They get an extra point blocked.
|
Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
Giants 10
Redskins 6 This is going to be an ugly opener for both teams, but I think Plax will be the difference for the Gints. |
Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
I don't know how the Skins offense went from looking pretty good the first preseason games to looking terrible the final two. Based on what I saw the final two games I'll go with Giants 20 Skins 10

Sometimes I feel the only people who actually take pre-season seriously are the people on this site. I remember Spurrier's first year. The Skins first offense looked like a well oiled machine in its first pre-season game and some here thought you had the second coming of the 99 Rams.

Nice to see all the early season optimism.
