NFC pro bowl practice
 

First day and I see our boy Cooley wearing an Eagles helmet taking a pass from Romo. Get serious Chris........ anyone else see that. NFL network this morning.

probably doesnt deserve its own thread but i thought it was funny to see.

Because the Cowboys are the pitchers and the Eagles are the catchers??

I doubt that's what he meant, but that's what I'd like to think he meant!

Sad thing is some people will take this as Cooley wanting to be an Eagle instead of seeing it as him just being the goofball that he is.

Cooley is just goofing around during what is considered a laid back and fun week. He's in Hawaii with his hot fiancée, and getting paid for it. Why not have a little fun?

I think I remember a couple of cowboys players a few years back wearing Packers helmets. Cowboy nation was freaking out.

WHAT!?!?! i didnt see this but im gonna spend all work day if i have to to find it on the internet. where did you see this?

F$CK! he probaly saw how this offseason is starting and realizing he will probaly not work well in a WC style offense. i was waiting for some of our players to chime in directly or indirectly about all these changes and mismanagement. looks like it was just a matter of time.

I thought it was pretty obvious that over the mountain was kidding...but maybe that's just me.

over the mountain - a bit of advice. Either make it very well known you were joking (Smilies, </sarcasm>, etc) or bore the full brunt of a group.

It's awfully tough to tell sometimes when someone is joking or not. Especially right now with how hypersensitive some people are to any nugget of Redskins news.

Quick example: Headline - Spags stays in NY. Reaction - OMG the season is over!

Anyone check out Adam Schefter's interview with Cooley during the practice today? Everyone had the same shorts on but Cooley, of course, was rocking the short shorts. Interesting tidbit, he said that the first short shorts he wore last summer (assuming not the super short ones) were actually 50th anniversary (1986 was when the Skins wore those ... 50th anniversary in D.C., whereas 2007 was 75th year in the league) shorts that Bubba Tyer gave him still in the original packaging :headbange
