I live in central Virginia. It really amazes me how many Cowboy fans are in Virginia. Anyway, try this one on for size. When I come upon a Cowboy fan, I say "IF ONLY HALF OF YOU SON-OF-A-BITCHES WOULD JUST MOVE TO TEXAS IT WOULD MAKE MY STATE A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN." What ya'll think about that. you have my permission to use it too. Go Redskins!

I live in TX! Fortunately for me I live in Austin where college football is far more important thant the NFL. Especially since J Jones has shunned the Longhorns in the draft over the past few years. There really is a dislike for that organization around here, even if you are a Cowpuke fan.

Yeah, I heard that theres a big Redskins fan base in Dallas. I haven't seen any proof of it though.

Here in the DC area, there are SOOO many Cowboy fans its sickening. Some people like the Cowboys just to hate the Redskins.

I live in the heart of Eagles country and the main reason I became a fan of the Redskins is because everybody LOVES the Eagles. I know i'm a little off topic here but let me explain...Well one day when I was a teen lad (13 of 14 maybe) the Skins were playing the Eagles and I was in a room surrounded by Eagles fans and I decided WTF I'm gonna root for the Skins since no one else is ( and at the time i really didn't follow pro football) Well needless to say, the skins won and i proceeded to rub it in the faces of all the zit faced teenaged Eagles fans. This is one of the best days of my life and i've been a skins fan ever since. Thank you Redskins for whoopin the Eagles that day.

The one I hear is that they are tired of hearing about the Redskins, well if they lived in Dallas would they root for the Redskins because they are tired of hearing about the Cowboys?

Definate bandwagoneers.... There is definately more Cowpuke fans up here than Skins fans... at least to my knowledge... Just watch and see how many Patriots fans pop up around your area(s) especially if they win the Super Bowl. I've already noticed at least a 1/2 dozen NEW Pats stickers on the cars in the parking lot at work (there is about 500 cars in the lot)

What are you hanging out in Dallas Cowboy theme bars? I live close to that area and know maybe 3 to 4 diehard Dallas fans. Now before this past Sunday I saw flags hanging in yards and cars, Dallas hats and jersey's all over the place. After Sunday I cannot recall but seeing one Dallas thing. I think they slid those hats and jerseys back in their drawers for a couple of seasons and snuck out after dark Sunday night and removed all that Dallas stuff from their yards and cars.

Living here in the area i notice when you go into a sports store here you can buy all kinds of Dallas stuff but when i went to Dallas on a business trip, there was no Skins stuff in any of the stores. They had other teams but no Skins. I think its bad sportmanship and shallow. They really are scared down there....lol

I am flying through From San Jose Costa Rica back to BWI next week, via Dallas.

I have already packed my Redskins Polo shirt, just to make a statement as I go through the airport and hang out in the first class lounge.

My dad would laugh his ass off, if he were alive.

I must give the 'boys respect points for all the goodwill regarding ST this year. They were still wearing '21's' on their helmets last week.

I don't understand why people like the cowboys around here. If you are from that area, I would understand completely. I think that it is foolish, but I understand. That being said there are so many fans who worship the cowboys, yet have never been to dallas or been to a dallas game. It makes absolutely no sense to me. Also the ultimate mind-blower is when Cowboys fans go to redskins games when the cowboys aren't even playing. I wouldn't do that. If I went to another NFL game where the Redskins weren't playing, I don't think that I would be inclined to wear a redskins jersey! Either the cowboys fans are retarded or they are closet redskins fans. I tend to think the former rather than the latter.

speaking as someone who grew up in MD/DC/VA (lived in all 3) and currently live 20 mins. outside of dallas there are 100 times as many cowboys fans up there as there are redskins fans down here. I remember it used to piss me off when i lived up there, and since i moved down here 3 years ago, ONE person has come up to me while im wearing any of my skins gear and he was born in dallas. But he was funny he just walked up and asked me if I would shake his hand bc. it had been a long time since he had seen anyone with class! most of the time its shitty looks or comments. But really almost all of them are just fair weather fans who ride high when they are doing good and who just ignore them when they arent doing well, unlike us who are strapped in tight to the emotional rollercoaster!

I can't tell you what to say to your local Cowboy fans but the NFL said Sorry to the Cowboys by issuing them a letter of apology over the blown calls Sunday. The first letter was over about Romo committing intentional grounding penalty. The second letter was calling D ware offside that led to the Giants first Touchdown.
