I had the same problem until I realized I was clicking on the wrong link. Make sure you click on "Join a League" (underlined in blue, under Football 06). Don't click on the yellow button, that's for the $$ league

I already changed my team name, sorry, it's a bad habit of mine. If Yahoo sets it so that you can only have one team name for all the leagues that you are in mine may seriously change about 50 times.

It really means teams have NO depth. Late in the season, you have one or two big money players per team. We did 14 team leagues last year and it was pretty evident that anything larger would have meant no strategy whatsoever.

Better to have a second league. I bet we can get 12 more. (we already have 4).

12 means there's enough talent to go around.

I've been in 20 team leagues, and you have to spend about an hour deciding things like whether you should start greg jones or dominic rhodes, neither of which is actually starting on their real life teams. It helps guys who can hover on yahoo to pick up new scrubs each week the minute the add/drop window opens, but its just not great, cause half the teams have no chance to win and its a total crapshoot.

Hey what've you got against Alex Smith? He's at the top of my draft board.

I know he threw alot of something last year...TDs or INTs...can't remember which. Either way the number was high, and that's good in my book.
