Re: NFC East Chances
I think Aldrick Robinson will have a big game. Something tells me that the Giants defense is not accounting for him. They're looking at Garcon, Hankerson, Moss, and Paulsen but not Robinson. There was a game at the Meadowlands in 1988 where Gary Clark had like 14-15 receptions for 255 yards in a loss to the NYG. If Robinson can receive for over 200 yards in receptions on Monday Night and take the focus off of Garcon and Moss that would be pretty nice. Add to the fact that Alfred Morris will run for over 1,000 yards in this game makes it all that more pleasing to want to watch.
only 200 yards? That's it? |
Re: NFC East Chances
I don't doubt RG3. As long as Robinson keeps catching wide open deep passes and Garcon stays healthy I don't see how the Giants secondary can match our offense. Moss is the secret number 1 receiver. Garcon is the receiver you must address. Can Antrelle Rolle run with Robinson?
Kenny Phillips is back, he didn't play last game. Against GB, they went with a 4-2-5 a lot more, but more of an agressive nickel. Not the soft nickel that allows teams to get dinked and dunked all the way down the field. However, the real question for the Skins is not their O. They can move the ball with anyone, have a well-balanced attack. Their issue is their D. Will they be able to prevent the Giants from putting up 30+? |
This MNF game is game would make our season a lot more exciting down the stretch if we pulled out a win. I talked to a buddy of mine and I went on and on about how excited I am for game....
He stopped me and said, "I know you know I have season tickets, and yes you can come to the game". Haven't been to see RG3 yet so I'm pretty excited. It's been a long time too since I've been on the board. Glad too see some familiar faces...er.... names still around.
Lucky damn duck!! I can't wait to see RG3 live...wonder if we'll play Denver, SD, SF, Seattle on the road next season? |

Your going to fry my brain if i try to figure that out. There are so many variables at work there - as division winner or as a wildcard. Guess that 60% has to do with the chances the Giants win 9 and than the other say five teams in the wc race too. Way to many variables and scenarios. Yep. Brain fried. |

Robinson can fly past the defense. He's dangerous in the slot and by the sidelines and more lethal in one on one coverage straight down the field or on a post pattern. The only corner that the NY Midgets have that I can see covering him is Corey Webster....maybe. |

I've been paying more attention to Webster ever since he intercepted Brett Farve in the NFC championship game back in 2007. Most of the time when the Giants are on defense, he's solid in coverage. Whether he can stay with Aldrick Robinson remains to be seen. |

Wasnt that throw by Favre almost an up for grabs throw? I dont really remember. Did Webster make a great play? The Giants front seven is so ****ing good every year that it probably makes their secondary seem more solid than it is. |
