Re: The Running Game
They're all going to play, so I see no reason to remove Hightower as the starter just because Torain had one good game. Don't mess with team chemistry.

Re: The Running Game
TH is much better than Train. ATV is a great option to have at the #3 spot, and a great change of pace type of back to put a bruising on the competition. Still would rather have TH or Helu up there as a first option.

Re: The Running Game
Here is what I would like to see out of our three-headed running back game:
- Start the game with Hightower as the starter. - Bring in Helu to spell TH as a change of pace RB. - Make Torain your short-yardage RB (or Helu). - If the team has built up a lead, bring Torain to run and control the clock (you hear that KS?!), with Helu to spell him. - Bring TH in obvious passing situations or the occasional draw. |
Re: The Running Game
Hightower is straight overrated!

Re: The Running Game
I've been a Hightower fan but I'm seeing now that he's probably best in spurts. I'd like to see Torrain start, Helu spell him for 5-12 carries a game and Hightower as the third down back. Each has their strengths and weaknesses but I like what they collectively bring to the position. Fantasy owners be damned! You should have known better than to draft a Shanny back!

Re: The Running Game
Torain can be the runner and Hightower the third down back

I think many guys picked him up late or from FA. No big deal. |
Re: The Running Game
When we first traded for him I thought TH would be our 3rd down back. I'm not totally giving up in him as a featured runner, but how can you not be impressed with what Torain did last week?
|
Re: The Running Game
Philly seems to be having serious tackling problems and the pounding style Torain brings may be a sweet deal in a couple of weeks......
|
Re: The Running Game
Philly has a problem that isn't easy to fix and that's stopping the run
|
Re: The Running Game
If Hightower is hurt, sit him. When's he's 100%, start him. It's as simple as that. It's no need to play a player who's hurt when you have great depth and competition at one position. Worse case scenario is, they decide to continue playing an injured Hightower who won't have the best chance to heal and doing so, then Mr. Glass, excuse me, Torain suffers an injury carrying just half or less or the carries then the team is only suiting up 'one-and-half' (healthy) RBs.

Well I've run from the cops before ( when I was much younger) and I'm black so no harm meant. I just love the way the guy runs the rock. |

Just run the guy with the hot hand. They're all capable. |
Re: The Running Game
Come the last month of the season, I have a weird feeling it's not going to matter between these two. Helu's just sitting on my fantasy bench for a reason.
