Re: trump the Criminal
Unfortunately, no surprise charges that would have warranted Bragg's actions. Dan Abrams predicted all these charges will be thrown out as he doesn't believe Federal Judges will buy off on State courts using Federal statutes. He believes this will help Trump secure the GOP nomination (but not help him in the general).
My view is the later (Trump as the nominee) will ensure that Biden will be re-elected. |

Trump lawyers blast DA Alvin Bragg's case, but legal experts say they'll regret it. Here's why
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/04/04/donald-trump-lawyers-blast-bragg/11598646002/ Donald Trump’s defense lawyers blasted Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s hush-money case on Tuesday, saying it lacks the kind of convincing detail he’ll need for a slam-dunk prosecution against the first-ever former president to face criminal prosecution. A number of legal experts and former prosecutors, however, said Bragg was smart to leave out critical details of his case in order to gain competitive advantage over Trump’s aggressive team of lawyers and political influencers. The indictment handed up by a Manhattan grand jury accuses Trump of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records as part of a scheme to prevent stories about Trump’s alleged affairs with two women from going public in the waning days of the 2016 presidential campaign. That included paying $280,000 as part of a “catch-and-kill” campaign to silence adult film actress, Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal from telling their stories and hurting Trump's election chances. Another $30,000 was paid to a former Trump Tower doorman who was trying to sell information "regarding a child that the Defendant had allegedly fathered out of wedlock," according to a statement of facts that accompanied the indictment. |

I get that people are pissed about CNN giving that dick bag a platform for his lies and nonsense, but I also think it’s important to keep shining a light on how incompetent and unfit for office he is. The sad fucks in the crowd laughing along with him don’t represent how most of the country feels.
Could you imagine Biden going on a Fox townhall and taking questions from a hostile host and audience?
We know he is a coward and would get crushed.
I mean he's 80 years old, idk what you're expecting but his entire selling point is "not Trump." As long as he is "not Trump" he will get votes for being "not Trump." He could eat every meal after it was made in a blender and wear diapers and he'd still get votes for being "not Trump." Say what you will about that fat sloth draft-dodging rapist, cheeto spray-tan having, born on third base evangelical worshipping grifter who cheats on his wife with pornstars, state-secret stealing, ketchup on well done steak eating twice-impeached loser, but credit where it's due. His mind stays active because he never misses an opportunity to cry victim. He is constantly on attack against any perceived slight big or small, and that's why you and others love him. He can lose to Carroll in court and have to pay out, and the next day he goes on national tv and still attacks her as having no credibility. |

I was really hoping he would not run in 2024. I changed my affiliation to republican to vote against people like trump multiple times if I have to so I don’t have a democratic primary vote anyways but I would vote for RFk jr. environment should be priority one always imo |

trump Indicted on 7 Counts !
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-says-truth-social-indicted-classified-docs-probe-rcna79343 Trump indicted on 7 charges in classified docs probe WASHINGTON — A federal grand jury has indicted Donald Trump on seven criminal charges in connection with his mishandling of more than 100 classified documents that were discovered last year at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, making the twice-impeached former commander-in-chief the first former president to face federal criminal charges. The charges mark the second time Trump has been indicted since he left office, but the news still reverberated through the country, with supporters and critics weighing in on the magnitude of the development. While the first round of charges dealt with Trump's conduct when he was trying to get elected in 2016, the new charges touch on his actions as he was leaving the White House and focus on how he handled some of the country's most sensitive secrets. Two sources briefed on the seven charges said the charges include false statements and conspiracy to obstruct. All charges are related to retaining documents and obstructing justice. One source noted that seven charges don’t necessarily mean seven counts — multiple counts can be associated with each charge. |
