I'd say if KC gets 50+... There's a strong chance. |

Eh. Whatever.

Re: Battle of the Tribes! Chiefs vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
Great coverage check by Kirk, and a great throw. Than the Redskins curse becomes reality.
It has been more than 4 years. I don't think the Skins will ever be good until they have a new owner.
I have to agree, but the owner's are pure money men now. They don't care about winning, no incentive to since they are dealing with such a dumbed down populace. Why there is a multi year waiting list for Skins tickets is beyond me, but most of the Skins fans are delusional govt workers or contractors, so it fits. |

Re: Battle of the Tribes! Chiefs vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
All you have to do is look at the crypt keeper in Dallas to understand. He plays with his team like he is playing NFL franchise mode on Madden, and he messes it up, but damn, those Uber Rich Texans keep filling his stadium 8 times a year, buy all the Cowboy garbage, and buy up those overpriced concession stand stuff.

Cousins.. Looking about the same. Looks uncomfortable in the pocket.
I've changed my mind. We don't need another WR or anything on Defense as bad as we need a middle of the line |
Re: Battle of the Tribes! Chiefs vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
As much as it pains me to say it I think between a decade plus of consistent losing and now the coaching drama I really believe this is the worst organization in the NFL right now.

No, in terms of playoffs, etc there are worse, but this team isn't going to win for another 4-5 seasons. RG III might get better next season, but his supporting cast is going to get him killed. That is why a few weeks ago I said he probably will be a bust. I find it laughable now that Jason Campbell is leading the NFL in passing this week thus far and besting Tom Brady. He was another kid that was OK, but his supporting cast wasn't up to par. |

Where do you come up with this ridiculous stuff? You apparently don't know jack about Redskins fans. By the way, don't all of those hardcore blue collar fans in Detroit sit in a nice, warm, dry dome? |

Throwing in a fluke playoff appearance every few years is fools gold. This organization is garbage. |

By the way, don't all of those hardcore blue collar fans in Detroit sit in a nice, warm, dry dome?
\ Indoor outdoor wasn't part of the discussion, just why some places are more docile than others. My Rustbelt statement was economic in nature. We make cars up here in Detroit, while in E Ohio and Pittsburgh you have steel mill types. Sure there are white collar Lions and Steeler fans, but each city has its own persona from what it is known for. The origin of the entire discussion was based on why some people are more into sports than others with regards to DC fans of the different DC teams. I have been at many venues for both college and pro sporting events. Blue collar types usually are louder and more rabid than white collar types. What stadium is louder usually Heinz or Fed Ex? You have the white collar corporate types in the boxes, but who is in the stands? Blue collar types generally are more fanatic about their sports. You could probably say that younger fans are louder as well, etc. I don't see that as being so ridiculous as it is based on 33 years of observation at many different venues. |

Irish I am not saying we aren't garbage, but we are better than Cleveland, Buffalo, and the like. That isn't saying much now is it? |

Todd Collins took his supporting cast to the playoffs. And he's played for just about every team in the league and is still a backup. |

we would lose to every team in the league right now, bar none. That means we are in fact the worst. Noones fault but mike shanahans. |

Really!? They both have better records than the Skins. The spread on those games wouldn't be more than 1 point. |

I've changed my mind. We don't need another WR or anything on Defense as bad as we need a middle of the line
BINGO! But it was Shanahan that decided to build a small, quick O-line. Our interior gets pushed back like blocking sleds. Our lines are undersized on both sides of the ball. Those personnel decisions are 100% Shanahan. |

Probably, but I was speaking of recent history of the NFL franchises. We suck, but there are teams that haven't made the playoffs in almost 2 decades. |

Believe me, Jason Candle has nothing to do with the Browns keeping Brady in check.
Reminds me of the "good old days" debating Jason Campbell when he went to the Raiders, where JC supporters would claim he had thrown a 70+ yard bomb, and you look at NFL replay, and it was a 2 yd pass to McFadden ran 70+ yds to the house. |
