Wow...the Panthers may actually be WORSE next season!

Replacing DeAngelo Williams' roster spot with Shockey and probably adding ANOTHER rookie QB after the 3 they drafted last season pooped the bed. Plus, no John Fox.
You know people keep on wondering why pro teams don't usually jump at the chance to add brothers. In short it's situation like the Palmer standoff that puts teams in exactly the type of situations that make everyone uncomfortable. Very rarely do you end up with the Sedin, McCourty or Pouncey twins. Actually if anything this latest example has shown me that twins are all right. Regular brothers on the other hand, bad idea that only sounds good initially on paper.

All the Bengals need to do is give Jordan #9 and start him. The fans will not see a decline in performance from the QB spot and most of them won't even notice Carson is gone.

Yeah, Carson has declined that much.

Bonus - the stadium shop won't have to discount the #9 Palmer jerseys and toss them on the clearance rack, keep charging full price.

And you guys wanted to make Tony Pike our franchise QB. Silly people. The smart people recommended Jimmy.

Jamal Williams would be a good pickup. The man can still play NT.

Played in 16 games last year and grew up in DC so it couldn't hurt. Actually it would be a great signing.

You're right but I don't want to go another year without a player capable of consistently manning the Nose Tackle position. Besides the Dolphins already franchised Soliai and the first two picks in the draft are already looking to be OLB/QB.

Nose Tackle is one of those positions where old men can still play at a high level and given it's level of importance I wouldn't want to risk it by hoping to stumble on a late round gem. Not that we shouldn't draft one but a quality Nose tackle goes a long way towards helping this defense turn the corner.

As much as anyone else I am salivating to get a young, dynamic NT. However, nose tackles need rest. Jamal can help us to have a fine rotation and can teach the young buck who is not yet on the roster.

I think that's just him speculating that Asomugha could sign here. He wants money and he wants to play on the East Coast apparently. Haven't heard he's high on our radar

Assuming Los will walk, would WE even be able to afford him? Great player but he's going to demand Revis $

Sims-Walker: 'My time is up' in Jacksonville

The Jaguars informed free agent Mike Sims-Walker that they are moving on without him in 2011.
Sims-Walker confirmed the news on his Twitter account, writing, "Sorry to say my time is up" in Jacksonville. Sims-Walker fell out of favor with the coaching staff in 2010, and it was widely believed all along that the Jags would let him walk. He falls into the second tier of free agent receivers as a talented but extremely brittle playmaker. Barring an impact addition, Hill will have sleeper value in deeper leagues as a starter Jacksonville.

Worth a look. 26 years old. Tall, flashes of talent. Better than our entire WR core.
Sims-Walker is definitely an interesting FA
He was released by the Jaguars, a team we beat. Sims-Walker was on the Jaguars during that game. Ergo Sims-Walker is not better then the Receivers we currently have. Also the Jaguars did not win the Super Bowl, nor did they make it to the playoffs. Sims-Walker also failed to win a national championship at Central Florida and lost as many as 3 6A State Championships in high school. Sims-Walker is not a winner. We need winners on this team. Players like Awtwaan Randle-El and David Patten that can give teammates first hand accounts of what its like to be on a winning team so they can live vicariously through said player and repeat said success in spite of a lack of motivation.

In conclusion Sims-Walker would be a terrible addition to the Washington Redskins.

Some of you may remember that he went down in the preseason against us his rookie year. I'm not sure he's had a full year since. A healthy Sims-Walker would be a decent addition assuming he still has his speed.

Great news...Dallas didn't get him! Didn't want him here because of his injury history, plus, we do not need him with Landry, but Dallas' secondary is nonexistent and I thought they'd make a good run at him. With our luck, he'd be healthy only for the 2 games against us!
