For sure. It will be interesting to see how high the qbs go with how many there are and the lack of truly elite qbs although some good ones. I think they will be able to get a very nice haul by trading down that 11. Love the idea unless there's a guy that they must have.
I just feel that if Willis drops to #11, we will get phone calls about that pick. |
Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Too bad he's an OLB, but this is a surprising move:
@AdamSchefter After Monday’s spending spree, the Jaguars are releasing LB Myles Jack, per source. Jack led the Jaguars in tackles last season with 108. |
Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Which is so odd. He seemed to have most of the tools, go through progressions, can scramble to buy time with eyes down field, accurate
Rookie year -- 63.8 comp pct, 3725 yds, 27 tds - 14 ints, 93.7 rating 2022 -- 60.5, 3010, 17-13, 83.1 I think he def could become a Tannenhill situation, on the right team right scheme, he could QB an above .500 team. I would like Mayfield on our squad. I think hed fit well, seems like a better version of Heinike.
I'd definitely take BM here, but Watson is a significant upgrade and a guy that could put them over the top, so I can't blame the Browns for going that route. |
Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Kind of awkward for the Browns if they openly court Watson but fail to land him, does Baker demand a trade regardless?
Browns are very active, with Cooper add, pursuing Watson and going big on pass-rush options in free agency. - Jeremy Fowler
Looks like the Baker era is over
Baker needs to go too Seattle or Indy |

I also thought that he had played some MLB, but I could be wrong about that. Adds more to the FA pool which is good news for those looking at Hicks or Wagner |
Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Adam Schefter
@AdamSchefter · 10m Cowboys are re-signing DE Randy Gregory to a five-year, $70 million deal that includes $28 million guaranteed, per source. |
Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
While it doesn't help that they are in the AFC, I think the Browns have the more complete team for Watson, compared to Carolina and New Orleans. Also, the Browns have the best QB to include in the trade compared to those two teams.

I admit to liking his commercials. |
Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Myles Jack would be a great addition to our defense... Hopefully they show interest

He's a funny dude and a team guy, OU players LOVED that dude. Is he an Elie QB? No but in the right system he can be solid |

Funny everyone wants Wentz to be that, I say Wentz is the better QB then Baker. |
