This is correct. Problem is without a legit coaching staff Watson is the car with no engine again…..
Watson balled out when Bill O'Brien dismantled the team the last season he played with the Texans.

Tampa Bay had all that talent and it took Brady to make them a playoff/SB contender.

This coaching staff has a lot to work on, but we'd be foolish to think that a QB like Watson would not make a difference. We'd be 2-1 with a player like Watson.

Yeah there is no doubt he would make our offense way better. TH is a nice story and I like him but he's not a legit QB1

Folks need to chill the fuck out on the Chase criticism. JDR and Ron need to change some things up.

I still see a lot depth issues in zone and handoffs. Josh Allen moving outside the pockets to extend plays was a big problem yesterday.

Fuller tho…he got destroyed by Beasley yesterday. This isn’t working out him in the slot.

That is tough to say. Teams plan different. Watson isn’t making us better than SD or Buffalo. Not with these three bozos on our sideline. Im not opposed to Watson at all, but we are not a quarterback away as was once thought. Unfortunately. My main concern for this teams future is a new coaching staff. Period. You wanna bring in Watson with a competent staff I am all for it.

Unfortunately, this type of thinking is what leaves us stuck with Taylor Heinecke or Fitzpatrick. At some point, you need to take a leap to get a QB. And this mindset of building building building, won't get you anywhere.

Heinecke is a nice feel good story, but a good QB, let alone an elite QB like Watson makes a ton of difference.

If all of the legal issues got resolved today and NFL announced Watson was suspended for all of 2021-2022, and could play starting 2023, I'd trade our 1st round pick for him this year (if a contract was worked out prior to trade). He would still only be 27 or 28 and could be our starter for another 5-8 years.

In the last decade we had under employment two of arguably the best young coaches to come about in a long time and we let them both walk. (Kyle and Sean)

I'm pretty sure the Texans would still be stubborn and would still be asking for some ridiculous price. Right now they are basically paying $10 million to sit inactive each game.

Like I said, Im not at all opposed to bringing Watson in but he isn’t righting this ship by himself. Not even close.
Look at Stafford. He couldn’t win shit with Detroit, goes to LA and bam they are lights out. We are Detroit though, not LA without a quarterback.

Absolutely nobody. Lol. That is my point. We are fucked. You can bring whoever you want here. Watson for example. If you think he is winning here with this staff well good luck with that.

Scott's offense with Watson under center will be improved.

The weak points of our O in order is:

1. TH
2. Oline
3. turner

TH is not a full time nfl qb by any means

Re: Welcome to DC Chase Young!

Watson or a franchise quality QB1 is the Keystone this franchise arch is missing.

Once that stone is placed then start building the other stones around it but to try to build the arch with out the keystone first nothing locks in or holds together.

I'll take Terry, Gibson, and Logan over any offensive talent Stafford had in Detroit (after Megratron retired). And our crappy defense would look elite compared to what Detroit had during Stafford's time there.
