Shannahan would have NEVER allowed this

Re: Dallas postgame
You know how some coaches just find a way when the odds are long and you’ve dealt with injuries or whatever? Well Gruden NEVER finds a way. He beats who he’s supposed to beat and nobody else.
I’ve had enough of him. |
We already know that. But Jay can't go out there and tell Moreau to wrap up and tackle someone. He can't get Norman to cover better.
THAT literally is his job to do or find somebody who can do these things. He hasn't done either. |

Shanahan's 170 wins as a head coach ranked 12th in NFL history. Shanahan has coached in eight college bowl games, two NCAA national championships, 10 NFL conference championships, six Super Bowls and winning back to back Super Bowls. He developed a reputation as one of the most respected and upstanding members of the NFL community. Gruden...not so much. Shanahan > Gruden |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Us and dallas are similar. Both coaches are players guys that bring no intensity. Jay only starts cussing refs out after the games already out of hand. And Jay never gets any players fired up. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk |

Gruden...not so much. Shanahan > Gruden
Why are we talking about a coach who isn't here anymore? He's a respected coach and all but it didn't work out here. Some was his fault, some wasn't. He ain't coming back to work for Snyder. |

Re: Dallas postgame
Sometimes I wish Swearinger would just be quiet. This isn't one of those times:
http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25351376/defense-blame
Through seven games, the Redskins' defense ranked fourth in yards and fifth in points. Over the past four weeks, they're 27th in yards and 16th in points. They've lost three of those games.
Also that one game we did win out of the last 4, the D still gave up 500 yards, Tampa kept shooting themselves in the foot. Idk who's to blame but it's not like the D has been injured like the offense has.
"We can go out there and do whatever on teams that aren't good -- like I said, against Tampa, we can do whatever we want on teams that ain't good," Swearinger said. "But when you've got teams that can play with you, you gotta prepare. You gotta tackle. You gotta do the simple things right. If you don't do the simple things right, you gonna get embarrassed on national TV." "That's why we don't get respect as the Redskins -- we don't do the simple s--- right," Swearinger said. "We do the simple s--- right, I guarantee you we get respect. So we don't need no damn respect. I see why we get disrespected, 'cause we don't win the big game. We gotta win the big game. Only way you win the big game is you prepare for the big game. That's every day. And that's gotta be in your heart." "That laughing s---, man, that s--- for the birds when you're losing," Swearinger said. "If you're losing, if you ain't no championship team, it ain't no reason coming in the building and laughing -- unless it don't mean that much to you. Unless you're just doing it for the money. But if you're doing it from the heart, that s--- gonna mean something to you when you walk in that building after you lost two games in a row. It's gonna mean something to you.
Is it the coaching? Are players just playing for the check? No easy answers here. Only obvious problem I see is HHCD isn't ready, which should be obvious. Guys get months to train and prepare, OTA's, training camp, preseason games to learn schemes. Asking a guy to cram all that into a week is tomfoolery. |

Snyder creating the RG3 fiasco and how it spilled over to Cousins undermined any chance Shanny had at success. |

Cassanova McKinzy done for the year, torn pectoral muscle. Could Gallette be resigned?
JP Finlay wrote: Pernell McPhee has been a healthy scratch a few weeks in a row. Now, McKinzy will be gone for the season. The word with Galette was always that it would take an injury to bring him back. Is this the injury? |

Let’s not reinvent history Shanahan was to blame for plenty in his time here including his mishandling of RGIII’s injury situation. |
