It sure seems like it. He uses his backs more for sure |
Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
This is not KC specific but ... does having Reed constantly be a game time decision make it harder for D coordinators to design and install a weekly game plan? Do they have to have 2, 1 for if he plays and 1 if he doesnt?

Yes he does. Could we be more balanced offensively with Vernon Davis and Nile Paul at TE? Reed is a top 3 receiving NFL TE, no doubt. But Reid is not very good at blocking. Plus he is very injury prone. Davis and Paul are good physical blockers and not bad receivers (serviceable). I am not saying do not play Reid at all, but if Reid plays most of the snaps, are we are going back to being a pass first offense and loose balance? Which in turn makes it easier to defend against us? Do we loose the ability to run that ball consistently? Just a question.... |
Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Let's just be patient and see what this season brings and if he's really worth the big bucks by seasons end.

Just taking a guess here, is there a question you'd like to ask but you really want to start a thread to ask it? Rather than try to get around the 10 post min why not just ask it, that'd be a lot easier and it'd save both of us some time and you most likely won't be banned for trying to circumvent the rule, which is established for a reason. I do applaud your grammar btw, most newbies don't even put that much effort in. |
Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Cred, to continue this discussion, I think when it comes to free agent qb's, logic goes out the window. Anybody that isn't garbage gets paid, and anybody half decent at the minimum like KC is, gets hella paid.
Our last hope is that Kirk sees what we're building here and takes whatever acceptable offer the Skins are willing to throw out. So far I don't think we've seen an acceptable offer though. |

Considering how poorly the Skins have handled the KC saga, I don't see KC giving the Skins any kind of "family discount", he will go to whatever team pays him. I hope that team is the Skins because there's no guarantee that whoever the Skins bring in to replace him will be as good as him let alone better. Losing KC means this team essentially goes back into start-over mode and I doubt the fans will take kindly to that. |

The only thing for sure is he will get paid again in the offseason.

Literally my 9 year old son could have wrote that article. Some real quality insight. Here lets make a 10th team: Baltimore Why it could work The Ravens are tired of Joe Flacco. His current level of play doesn't match his contract. Cousins like Joe is a pocket passer and is use to working with below level talent at WR. Cousins would stabilize a under performing position for the Ravens. Why it couldn't work Because it is a totally stupid idea and I need something to fill up ESPN.com today. New England Why it could work The Pats are in need of replacing a aging Tom Brady. His current level of play can not not out shine their under performing defense. A mid season Garoppolo/ Cousins trade with an added 1st rounder going to the Pats is the perfect formula to set up Cousins as Tom's replacement. Kirk and Bill will be a perfect match as both love wearing hoodies. Why it couldn't work Because it is a totally stupid idea and I need something to fill up ESPN.com today. Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
The way I see it is KC did everything he could do to win the Chiefs game but it was taken away from him by a WR who didn't want to take a hard fall to win the game for his team. I made it a point to look at end zone catches in the NFL this past week and time after time the receivers had two hands on the ball.
Kirk is handicapped by two second-rate WR's and a star TE who can't stay on the field, yet he has done a very good job this season, IMO. In the Chiefs game, Kirk stepped up to the challenge, led a two minute drill at the end of the fourth quarter and won his first Monday night game on the road against a very good team - except that it doesn't count because he was let down by a p***y. BTW, I'm all set to nickname Pryor "50/50 II" after Rod Gardner if he drops any more passes this week. Oh, one more thing: for the sake of our collective sanity I hope PG doesn't run wild against us this week. |
Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Im trying to not think about how I will feel if Cousins leaves us next off season. No defending the way Allen/Snyder handle this.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Kirk Cousins... highest paid player in the league. Get used to the sound of that because it's coming.
