Im not blaming injury but remember this:

Rak out after 1st quarter
Carriker out after 1st quarter
Peirre Garcon out
Brandon Merriweather out

missing 4 starters killed us yesterday. injury bug has been nasty the last couple years.
Injuries are a poor excuse, because every team has them to some degree. The Rams had players injured along their O-line, yet the Skins D still couldn't stop their offense.

Re: Release Josh Morgan or else....

When the Redskins let Brees put up 300 yards and 3 TD on them in a WIN, no one was talking about the 32 points they put up, but now the Rams put up another 28 on this supposed great Defense. Bottom line after two games is that the Redskins better score a lot of points this year, because this Defense can't slow other teams down. As frustrated as I was at the end by Morgan, Cundiff may have still missed what would have been a 47-48 yard FG and we would all be yelling at him. Our Defense has to do a better job if they are going to let a guy like Sam Bradford abuse them like that.

agree, not an excuse. Woulda like to see how the defense would have played with Rak and AC in all day. I think they are difference makers in our scheme and along the D-Line. Barry Coefield gave a disappointing effort. Bowen was good again.

Do we want to sack Aldrick Robinson as well for dropping a sure TD.

Also like others have said the defense did us no favors.
Josh Morgan should have known better. Maybe the coaches might reduce his playing time in favor of Dezmon Briscoe. I'm surprised that Briscoe hasn't played one down on offense in the first two games.
He was in there yesterday. Ran a bad route on a play that almost led to a pick.

3rd quarter:
(2:04) (Shotgun) 10-R.Griffin pass incomplete short right to 19-D.Briscoe (32-B.Fletcher).

I just wanna ask Morgan, why did he turn back outside after making the catch.

The rams also had Michael brockers out, that is one nasty DL they got.

We will be fine, the Rams aren't that bad. Regroup and focus on the Bengals. Hopefully Garcon will be ready.

I think his first thought might have been to get out of bounds.

We had no time outs left at that point.

Everyone in the NFC East is now 1-1 except for those lucky Eagles, who despite many turnovers are somehow 2-0. No one has played anyone in the division yet and after two weeks if you would have told me the Skins would have been 1-1, I would have said "yeah they will lose to the Saints and beat the Rams!" it hasn't happen that way but the results are the same.
I think it's fair to consider the Rams aren't as bad as we thought. They took the Lions down to the wire in week 1. I think they could be a .500 type of team, sort of like the Skins.
I agree... they are have been rebuilding for longer, and Bradford might be coming into his own, now that he's got some weapons.

BTW for all the people who don't have a clue who Danny Amendola is, he's been compared to Wes Welker in terms of upside skillset and potential for a couple years now, his injury last year and the fact that he's been on bad teams has kept that hype on low simmer.

Remember just because you didn't draft him in the first round of your fantasy draft doesn't mean he's a scrub.

Cowboys beat the Giants.

And the Iggles should be 0-2. Grrrrrrr.

While I understand that, there was a full minute left in the game. He had the 1st down easily .

Yes. North-south running was by far his best choice.
Next lets cut Hank for almost dropping the long TD reception.
Robinson DID drop one! Hit him right on the hands.

Bonehead play by Morgan but between Bradford's GREAT day and the refs' horrible day...we can't blame Morgan completely.

Bottom line though, the Rams just outplayed us.

Hopefully Garcon is back next week...we're definitely a notch less dangerous on offense without him.

Am I the only one thinking, I bet Gano would have made that kick?
