Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
thats what the skins are good at, signing aging FA's to sell some jerseys.
To be fair, the Redskins have been bad in recent years with FA's, but I think that was more thanks to the simple mind of Cerrato. Granted the McNabb expierement didn't work out, but they set the contract up perfectly to save themselves (which is what I'd expect they'd do with Peyton). I think it's worth the gamble, assuming he is 100% healthy and passes all test. Peyton 50% is better than Grossman and Beck, but if he's 100% and some upgrades to the O line, could definitely sneak in the playoffs. |
I see three options this off season.
RG3, Manning, or Flynn. Anything else with the exception of the unlikely ones (Bradford/Luck/etc) don't make us better.
Here is one more from today's Examiner: Eyeing the QBs: Kyle Orton | Washington Examiner This seems to make some sense as a Plan B type of option. |

His name is on the list, but they haven't made a decision yet from what I've heard. Moss and Banks, see-ya. |

No, Skins' fans are good at buying those signed FAs' jerseys. |

Welcome. You and Smoot should join forces. Together you two could rule the galaxy. |

Mr. DC Tailgate. While I too will not reject your insider info at face value, do realize your reputation is in perilous danger should your info be wrong. ;)

I'm not going to say what I've been told may not come true, of course there's always that possibility, things like that do happen. Such as this past offseason we had a deal with Cullen Jenkins in the works (shook hands) only to have his agent try to drive the price up after it. However, I trust my guy and most of the time he's right. |
Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign
No offense to anyone but all of the sudden we are getting new folks on here that know someone who knows someone..... Very hard to believe imo

Let's give him a chance. The Cullen Jenkins shtick did happen, I think, although my memory is foggy, so I'll let Smoot set me straight(again:D). |
