don't know what the score will be but i've got a feeling the skins are gonna win this game and by doing so, will surprise a lot of people.
I'm sure the majority of fans in the other 31 teams in the league think theyre gonna win the first game, too. To bad atleast 16 of them are wrong. |

The beauty of being a Lions fan is the ability to make frequent accurate predictions. |
Re: Redskins/Giants Opening Day Predictions
Losing Burress and Toomer changes the Giants offense dramatically. More important than the loss of Burress is the loss of Spags, he's a very good DC and the driving force behind their success in 2007.
The Giants lines are very good, however our DL is much improved with the addition of Haynesworth, a healthy Daniels, and Orakpo. We should hold up well against the Giants rushing attack. I don't believe they have enough firepower to beat us with their passing game. The Giants are outmatched by us at our secondary vs. their WR/TEs and by our WR/TEs vs. their secondary. The key is Campbell, I believe he will be more poised and confident in Zorn's system, and with a healthy OL up front he will perform. Redskins 27 - Giants 16 EDIT: You heard it here second. Great minds think alike :) |
NY fans are the hardest to please. They won the SB two years ago and went 12-4 last year. I wish we had those things to worry about.
Yeah but the guys I know are usually cocky as all hell. Not this year though. They have some genuine concerns, and of course they always hate Eli. |

I think they should have. They didn't exactly end the season on a high note either and lost their best receiver. |

true but i don't always think or, in this case, feel like the skins are gonna win. i just think the skins are a much better team than last year and the g-men are a much worse team. |
Re: Redskins/Giants Opening Day Predictions
We are going to kick, the Giants ass.

Then the're not real Blue Bloods Matty! If they were they would have faith in Jerry Reese ....the GM. |

lol...................come on out ,don't be shy ....tell us how ya feel!:) |
Re: Redskins/Giants Opening Day Predictions
I've got it at 35-17 Redskins. I think the Giants are going to have some offensive issues without a true #1 receiver and I think that's going to lead to a couple of turnovers that the Skins take advantage of.

Re: Redskins/Giants Opening Day Predictions
23-16 OT- Giants
We tie at 16-16 in regulation. Giants get lucky and get first ball, BJ unfortunately breaks free through open field and runs in for a 43 yd score (like that OT loss to SD a few years back). big disappointment for our Skins, but staying with the G-men for a full 4 quarters gives us some confidence... .
u dont kick extra points in OT |
