Re: Media Bias
G1 - I agree with one thing you wrote, so I will focus on that -
Trump definitely lost because he is a shitty person/human being. I am not spilling tears because he is out, but because the Republicans and Democrats can't field non-shitty candidates. We as americans need better than Trump or Biden, I would have said deserve, except we, unfortunately, get who we vote for. |
Re: Media Bias
Just imagine if the economy was a middling, slow growth or down turn and then pandemic came along.
Thankfully with one of the all time, strongest economy the world has ever witnessed,..it didn’t collapsed and in fact it allowed v curve recovery unlike anything we’ve every seen. With as soft as this nation has become, would have been interesting to see what would have happened if we weren’t at the point of max employment, strong growth, innovation, etc |
Re: Media Bias
Ha...absolutely not, just as we have seen in most Democrats responses to the Trump administration it’s Democrats talking points which are contrived, planned and spoken in unison by party leaders...Hilary, Pelosi, Schumer, Biden all said the same thing within that time period.
Of course they cry racist or xenophobic...not only is a lie , but disingenuous...It’s an act which most Americans see thru at this point. Its as laughable as Mooby saying Dems would have praised Trump if he would have said social distance and mask wearing in January. Absolutely they would never have. I’m still waiting for that Mitt Romney Democrats praise when he said Russia was our greatest threat.
They need to come up with a better message and soon IMO. The "We're not Trump is only going to go so far" Focus on issues important to most Americans: improved infrastructure especially rural areas ( How we have communities internet inaccessible in this day and age is a national problem) I know you don't agree here but universal healthcare and climate change both huge job creators too. Those three issues seem to be on back burner. |

BTW, I totally endorse her. Back in 18-ought-62, my village was raided by pirates. They raped and pillaged their way across the land. Still have PTSD about it to this day. Getting rid of the name Buccaneers would go a long way towards resolving those hurt feelings. |

This type of garbage is on brand for the Wash Post But I appreciate u agreeing this is a garbage article. I wish there was more liberal pushing back against pc, word police, cancel culture etc...I often think they actually fear stepping out of the group think fascism because they aren’t strong enough to take the criticism...they know the consequences because this is the culture they helped build. It’s easier to agree or stay silent |

All that cancel culture “bullshit” is just canceling the good ole boys ways and means of keeping themselves on top of the game. You wanna call that the liberal agenda go for it. Should be everyone’s agenda but the right wants to leave well enough alone. |

Re: Media Bias
I thought conservatives cancelled the NFL bc of Keapernick?
And Disney bc of Frozens' "gay agenda" And Cherrios bc it crammed PC culture down their throat with an interracial couple commerical And Goodyear tires bc a guy couldnt wear a MAGA hat at work and French Fries .. bc the word "french" is in there and Dixie Chicks .. and Taylor Swift .. Keurig Coffee makers ... of course Starbucks bc they say "happy holidays" and not "merry christmas" Netflix .. for doing a Obama series Budweiser .. something about not using clydedales ---------- The bottom line is I am amazed that conservatives think they were the ones who have been victimized and silenced the last 4 years. Truly amazing. Conservatives were the ones without a voice during Trumps 4 years .. lol. |

Not knowing dissent/criticism from punishment... Is the logic fallacy here. |
Re: Media Bias
Not a surprise here but I'm sure chico will say something about it.

Just saving this for posterity. Rare are the moments I get to see Tucker Carlson all excited because his guest agrees with him on the hypocrisy of the Davos elite flying there on private jets, before realizing the guy isn't his friend and won't help him push his agenda. |
