Agreed. We still have to be patient with this team. You are not going to turn around years of bad decision making with one or two players or in a year or two.

Not the starter but it couldn't hurt for him to be 2nd string. Let Rex bump down to 3rd.

If that's the case then just cut Rex, most teams keep the veteran QB as the backup.

did RG3 really play that bad? 5/8, he really didnt throw to many passes...look like he scrambled a bit for almost 20 yards. Lost a fumble...he will learn to take care of the ball better. sky doesnt appear to be falling

What looked bad was RG3 under center trying to establish a running game. He looks far better in shotgun. possibly due to his experience...possibly due to the poor line play

Crawford just had 2 outstanding plays in a row...he seems to be one of the few playing seriously...this kid is growing on me, i have been skeptical...but the last 2 plays were outstanding

Yep it's the preseason. Not increidbly worries about a game that doesn't count. What is the word on Rak and Mweather? That I do care about.

say what you like about the lack of presure on cousins...but he does look comfortable out there..throuwing that td to robinson was sweet. Cousins looks more comfortable in play action and under center than RG3 does...probably a product of their college offenses. I would have kept RG3 in longer to get him more reps under center...he needs it

True but cousins will never see the field in the first two seasons unless RG3 gets injured, and if does the shanahans will be run out of town fast.

Rak is fine, mild strain from what I heard. Awaiting MRI results on Meriweather (not sure if it's been done yet), though apparently it's not so bad either. Then again, we didn't necessarily think Neild's injury was so bad, so...

I know it is pre season and it's against back ups but Cousins was simply outstanding tonight. The ball came out quickly and he was dead accurate. Good to see a
Robinson sighting too. I liked what I saw from the 2nd team offense.
