Edit: I forgot Otto, Toric and the random neck stabby dude. Okay so deaths haven't been low. Just forgettable. Other than Otto and Toric none of the deaths really made an impact. Until SAMCRO breaks ties with the IRA, Big Red and random Asian's deaths are pretty much in vain.
This been something that's bothered me from season 3 on. Ope is the only significant character to die. Piney and Otto are close to significant but still not major characters. SAMCRO needs to bury someone this season and develop new characters next year. Unfortunately the only person that will probably dies is the guy with no fingers. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Yeah I think the Pope thing is done.
I'm just afraid next season will be the slow walk to end with Sons dying every episode until they'r all gone. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
lol yo! Jax went in! Didn't even shoot him in the head. Shot that man in the neck! Made him suffer!
|
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Shit hitting the fan tonight
|
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Feels like the old days. I got exactly what I've been wanting from the show; more Tara drama + multiple deaths, and ones I didn't even see coming.
Great, great episode. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Ho Lee Shiznit
They finally did it. And got that bastard Gaelen too. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Great episode, when Jax shot Galen in the face I just about jumped out of my chair. Didn't see that coming.

That's when it became a "stand up" show. Meaning I had to watch the rest of the episode standing up. I love SOA but don't if it is my favorite show ever. I do know it has two of the most memorable scenes in TV for me. Opie getting piped and basically everything last night from the time Jax shot Galen to the time he shot Clay. |

Not Tig's daughter being burned alive? That one stuck with me for awhile. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Last night was so good I watched most of it again with the re-air at 11:30.

No I don't want to remember that. |

Agent Stahl getting hers, Hale getting killed, Opie's scene, and Pineys death are the big ones in my opinion with last nights main scene sticking in there too when it came to main characters. Early in the show when Clay cut the balls of a rapist, Donna getting killed, and Gemma getting raped stick out as well. This show is so brutal, yet so good. I'd have to say this is my favorite drama show in probably the last decade or so. |

Just saw Tuesday's episode. Talk about one that will stick with you for a while. I can't believe they finally did it. Last night definitely ranks up there as far as memorable deaths go. Stahl/Jimmy was probably my favorite episode as far as people who deserved to die, but I won't forget Opie's/Piney's either. I thought Bobby might not make it but he looks like he's going to be alright. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Great episode. Glad they closed the Clay chapter.
It's going to be interesting to see how the Irish will respond. |

Re: Sons of Anarchy
The question is can they trust Connor. He can probably sell the whole deal if he wants to. In the end they're only going to care about the business.
There's going to be a lot of Chinese backlash though. Also...we need to get Happy back right? How's that gonna happen? |

Yeah, you did. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
I thought Tara was done with bad decisions but eh, I guess not.
Will Juice live through the finale since he ratted on Jax? He's already f'ed up twice, I don't know if there's any redemption for Juice, he'll be lucky if they just vote him out rather than knock him off. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Juice needs to go, tired of his whiny crap.

I could see Juice killing himself either in the finale or sometime early next season since in the previews, Jax lets Juice know he knows he outed him. I don't even think the club or Jax needs to kill him. Juice is really his own worst enemy. He's had a deathwish since he killed that prospect awhile back. |

I feel like once Jax gets one last use out of Juice he'll probably kill him. He forgave him once but twice is more than enough. And they never forget past transgressions, so we know Juice will be voted off the island eventually, the only question is how. And idk what will happen to Tara, but out of all the scenarios that can happen none are more likely than the other, i.e. Tara getting whacked, the feds catching up with her, or Jax catching up to her, etc. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
I think Juice will survive and end up getting involved with Carol. Jax will probably kill Rick for housing Tara and the kids in the pris.... Anyone else get their shows mixed up from time to time?

lol that would be cool actually, the sons in a zombie world. You know damn well they wouldn't give up that prison! |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Juice is a punk. Should've shot Gemma too.
|
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Geez, what a crusher. I actually got misty eyed. I know this is all Hamlet-esque and everyone's going to end up dead but the first selfless thing Jax does for Tara and his sons and she ends up dying for it. At least this means Jax will kill Gemma next season and Juice too. Good f'ing riddance.
|
Re: Sons of Anarchy
I thought they couldn't top Opie. I was wrong. That was just gut-wrenching. Utter despair.
|
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Man, so where does Jax go from here? No Opie, no Tara, I could see him really coming unraveled.
|
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Man, so where does Jax go from here? No Opie, no Tara, I could see him really coming unraveled.
Definitely not to prison as he's got no reason to go now. I could see him somehow thinking of a plan to shift blame of the K9 from himself to Nero or the Byz Lats since he kinda screwed up the business plan with Marks, the IRA and the Chinese by getting the Mayans involved. No matter what happens though there's gonna be maximum carnage come next season. Half of Jax's will to survive was Tara, now all he's got left is his sons. Can't help but wonder if they're going to die next season as well. Seeing as there's gonna be no happy ending to this story. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
Does Jax get blamed for those murders though?
Seems like things are setting up for a lot of Nero vs Jax drama next season too. |

Just got done watching the episode and this is my mind set. I thought Opie's death had prepared me for anything on this show, but as Tara and Eli got the house I knew what was going to happen but nothing like the way it happened. I'm absolutely in shock right now. I just texted a friend of mine about how while I love this show, it's almost too much at times to the point I'm almost glad next season is the series finale. This show is incapable of happy endings. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
I'm so disappointed with this season.
I hate Gemma and her shanahanigans. They are building her up to be the backbone of the MC when she is really just another old lady. the show is called Sons of Anarchy not Moms of Anarchy. F. Gemma, F. Junkie girl, and F Tara. I really like the angle of Nero and the mayans against the MC but they introduced it too late this year especially after pulling the whole toriq thing off the table so quickly. Sutter appears to be writing the show around his real life girlfriend. I have a feeling Gemma is going to be the last one standing at the end of next season. |

Gemma HAS to die. The entire show has been building towards that. There won't be a happy ending. |

This story definitely doesn't have a happy ending. I'm still kinda in shock from just watching the episode a few minutes ago. I never would've thought Gemma would outlast Tara, even in the moments where Tara ran. Also one final note, f Juice. In light of recent events, his betrayal will go on the backburner, but it won't be forgotten with Nero and Jax at each other's throats. At some point next season he'll have to pay his dues. |
Re: Sons of Anarchy
I thought CCH Pounder's speech to Jax about his role was the best writing of the episode, hands down.
|
Re: Sons of Anarchy
^ agreed, good stuff
I'm looking forward to watching the season again once it hits Netflix |
