Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
4th down and we'll probably miss.
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Moss never quits
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Shanahan is not the problem, it is going to take awhile to unscrew this pooch. Years of snyder fail is going to take so time to fix.
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
What do you know, maybe they should've run the ball more?
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Torrain needed to get more touches today
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
What a run Atv!! Rex looks decent
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Rugged Torain trucking people. People hating players due to draft position alone are stupid.
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Announcers all over the hate train on Rex.
Kyle calls a designed double flare route with Cooley and Williams, and Rex puts a pretty nice ball for Williams to catch and run, but misses. Rex goes with the play called. He's not the next Tom Brady... Although he's doing well imo |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
So far 12 runs, 24 passes. We just haven't had the ball much today.

He's not the problem, but he sure has added to it: - Changing to the 3-4 without the personnel - Giving up two high picks for McNabb only two bench him - Ignoring our interior offensive line issues - Dragging his pissing match with Haynesworth into the season - Bringing worthless players like Galloway You expect this crap from a rookie coach, not someone as experienced as Shanahan. |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
besides the horrible pick Rex has looked decent
I love how everyone is wanting to crucify Snyder, but ACT just like him.
Firing a coach after his first season... Rediculous. The Bucs went 3-13 or something like that last year right? When the new coach came in there and cut half the roster that year and alot of the known vets on defense they had. ESPN was all over them for doing that ALL year long. Now where are they? Why don't you give it some time guys.. We are 2/2 in the redzone today. Whens the last time we've been there?
I've said it many times. Our fans are stupid, and that's fine. Sports makes fans dumb, it's inevitable. Fortunately, our stupidity is inconsequential as we don't have the power to do anything. Snyder's problem is he grew up a fan like all of us but now he must ALWAYS, not just sometimes put aside his fandom and not act the way our dumb fans do. |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
The funniest thing that I recall hearing before Shanahan was hired, was how during his year off (after getting fired) how he studied offenses, how he spent time with Haslett talking about developing an innovative defense like no other, etc. Sounded like they were going to win a Nobel price for coaching in football. My question is: Where the hell is that defense and offense?

Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Eh, quit bitching Cowpuke fans, that's a make up for that BS roughing the passer earlier.

Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Rabach got destroyed by Ratliff. Oh right, he's a captain.

I agree, I dont see how the Skins would be doing any better with DM at QB. |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Moose is such a homer
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
run the ball on 1st down. damn this play calling is horrible
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Jay glazer said this morning that snyder is "very upset and disappointed with the Benching of Mcnabb"
Pretty sure he said Snyder was upset it happened when he was out of town, or something like that |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Looked like a little shove to me, sadly. Oh well, score damnit.
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
What do you know we got 21 points today with a wash up Rex .
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
No hands for Sellers on goal line plays.
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Grossman has us in this GAME...D needs to make a stop
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Sexy Rexy strikes again. lol
What do you know we got 21 points today with a wash up Rex .
22 POINTS! Now we are due for a turnover on defense.. Come on guys.. We are still in this. Let's beat the Pukes with Rex Grossman! |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
If we lose at least we know this offense can score with the right QB running the offense.
|
What do you know we got 21 points today with a wash up Rex .
After 4 games without a TD against them...Rex isn't that bad, the Cowboys D has regressed, or both. |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Grossman has us in this GAME...D needs to make a stop
Dont bet your life on that happening. |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Nice job Rex and moss maybe we can actually get a stop
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
We are due for a takeaway!
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Moss was, is and always will be a cowboy killer.

SS, then what do you think about sports analysts who say things like: - The Redskins made a mistake by switching to the 3-4 - Getting McNabb was not a good idea - The whole Haynesworth saga was dragged out by MS - What are they thinking by benching McNabb - This team is not good at anything and are headed in the wrong direction I try to be positive about the team, but then I hear people like Matt Williamson (who I think is a pretty good analyst) say that this team is going in the wrong direction and that they are terrible, it's hard to keep any positivity. You're right, fans are stupid, and we all say our share of stupid things. But it's just pretty damn hard to be positive about the team and agree with what the coach is doing. |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
Rex definitely hasn't been a step down from McNabb so far.
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
3rd down!!!
Triple coverage on whitten lol |
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
cant wait to hear the media after all the MS bashing for the way he treated mcnabb
|
Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
boys, that was a three and out.
|
Rex definitely hasn't been a step down from McNabb so far.
I hate to say this, if Rex works out, it will be bittersweet for the team because it will mean that you wasted two picks for McNabb. I mus say, the offense has stepped up and are taking advantage of the Cowpuke miscues. For once I'd like us to be in the winning end of a game like this. |
He's not the problem, but he sure has added to it:

Years of horrific personnel strategy that didn't address depth or planning for the departure of older players led us to where we are right now. How has he "ignored" interior offensive line issues? Only so much you can do in one season without draft picks. He had to roll the dice on McNabb. Can't blame him for trying to bring in a veteran QB to rely on. Sucks to miss on out on the draft picks, but not many people would have predicted his suckage this year. The pissing match with Haynesworth? What was he supposed to do? AH was determined to be an asswipe no matter what. Bringing in Galloway didn't hurt anymore than it helped -- no draft picks traded for him, no big hit on the cap. It's a wash. You're reaching dude. |
