very true

also lets all remember he doesn't even have the carrot of a 2nd term to kind of keep him in check

its going be an interesting 4 years
4 years?…the first 100 days is gonna be a sprint. Tax cuts will be made permanent, remain in Mexico back on and the 90 other immigration/border Biden orders will be ended and with others added. He absolutely will be deporting folks, it’s not going to be mass deportations but he will be keeping promises. Trumps already told Israel to finish up, so he will get that war ended and will get the appropriate credit. He’s gonna pull out of climate thing. That’ll be the first 100.

Big things down the line will be Saudi and Israel signing a deal to continue the Abram accord. Big trade deals, not on-going tariffs. He’s gonna get some culture things done with not allowing 10 years old to cut off their balls and biological men playing girls sports…you know the complete retard shit.

He’s gonna get 2-3 justices on the Supreme Court.

Host a World Cup and an Olympics. Big time events that he will eat up.

Ukraine, he not letting Putin walk into Kiev. He’s not gonna lose…he will continue to fund but he will push for an end to the war. The inconvenient fact is Ukraine is continuing to lose territory and they are fighting untrained/limited trained volunteers from Russia.

Like it or not President Trump is an iconic figure now….right now in the early 21st century, the most historic, most recognized, most talked about, most wildly covered around the world….for better or for worst. He is an icon.

We will see how it ends, hopefully good. But I think what’s been a lil surprising is the decompression and it’s been almost like a relaxed reaction to the election results of a Trump win.

Relaxed? Dude people are depressed AF and truly scared of what comes next. I just hope I have a job by the end of these next 4 years.
I’m reading that Gen Z and Latinos went for Trump hard. Makes zero fucking sense. Hope minorities are happy when the mass deportations begin, they could also try to denaturalize people. Have fun with that.
It was a 20 point swing by latino men from Biden in 2020 to Trump this election.

TWENTY fucking points.

Obviously no one wants a recession or people losing their jobs…but we just got the worst jobs report in years and no one said a thing here or in the media.

I don’t want to hear any complaints about the economy from Democrats. Record inflation, food prices, people on fixed income making tough choices, record high rents and young people can’t afford to buy a home. Mortgage rates high on top of already high home prices.

And then democrats support illegal immigration here to compete with places to live driving up shortages and rent cost. Which then drives up costs on city/town budgets. Illegals are a net negative

I’m sure Trump will fix it all, he definitely has a plan, or a concept of one at least 🙄

What happens if the election winner passes before taking office; does the veep
Candidate take office?

Chico I would suggest you switch news sources then. This is what we get once we have eroded civil liberties and made our country about corporate rights and not people. Oil companies price gouged us to record profits during high inflation. Driving up costs across the board. FTC did what they can but we are so limited to how we can handle corporations due to deregulation it is pathetic. Mortgage rates aren't high. They were reduced to record lows and then once inflation started going down they went up. They will continue to go up for the foreseeable future.

I like how you are blaming immigrants on rental prices and not rental companies and landlords price gouging people with no voice. Perhaps we should stop criminalizing people trying to live?

I moved to a new subdivision last year. The final houses are being built and I saw a bunch of new houses up for rent. That isn’t because of illegals.

He did give a phone interview to NBC yesterday, and apparently has blasted Newsom on social media.

Other than that, I'm sure he's been busy with phone calls.

Agree. It'll be interesting to see how he tackles immigration. I think he'll probably approach it similar to Obama in focusing on removing criminals.

Inflation to me was mainly a byproduct of trillions of dollars of covid spending. I think we would've had fairly significant inflation anyway if Trump had been reelected in 2020, but Biden added to it and threw gas on a fire.

WRT to housing prices.....in certain locations like Utah, Idaho, and Texas, they were already starting to go bat insane by late 2020 due to all the stimmy and pretty much zero interest rates.

Plaining to have camps and throw out all the immigrants in the US is hard work.

I don't blame people for fearing the worst about Trump, particularly after the J6 nonsense, but I'm hopeful that the immigration thing is measured, and things that he did in his first term like "Remain in Mexico" can be negotiated again.

A big part of winning elections is messaging and it seems like Biden had none. You can't have issues like inflation and immigration and then have the bare minimum in news conferences, probably because, as we now know, his team's lack of confidence in his mental state.

Not to say that I don't have questions about Trump's mental state either. Hoped that DeSantis or Haley would've been the pick, but that's under the bridge now.

Don't forget the actions (perceived as being supported by Dems). There are so many but here is one "LatinX."
